  1. Add Public Holidays (and all other forms of leave) to the Leave Transactions report not just Annual Leave and Personal Leave.

  3. Invoices submitted by contractors - Xero should have a tick box where we can tick 'I need to pay super on this invoice' and it tracks and records contractor super owing.

  4. Currently the Salary Sacrifice is just deducted on the Gross to Net report. Where as on the TB the amount is added. It would be good if this could be segregated.

  5. My EOM reports include PL, BS, Receivables AND payroll. Management report doesn't allow payroll reports to be added. Please allow this to be added to minimise time generating additional reports.

  8. When adding second line items in super. If (I did this so I know it is easy) you add a second SGC line for a fixed amount as well as a statutory amount it would be great if xero asked a warning question 'are you sure you want to add a second SGC contribution. OR if just isn't allowed. My understanding is a employer additional contribution would be the correct line item if employer and salary sacrificing if employee (pre or post tax). This will avoid an accidental overpayment of SGC.

  9. Add a warning feature to Xero, when a employee has (or will have) reached 75 years of age and is no longer allowed to salary sacrifice into their superannuation.

  10. For the payroll drop tap it would be good if we could have notification numbers next to say leave request and timesheets. Like the notifications of expenses.
    This helps to keep track on all leave submissions and what's approved.

  11. Hi,
    It would be great to be able to pay contractors (who are paid Super) in Payroll and have an option for GST. I feel the Contractor payments aren't user friendly for most small business as they have subcontractors and contractors where only GST is added and no PAYG tax is deducted.

  12. Hi Xero Team,

    I’ve noticed that Xero currently doesn’t support applying mixed tax brackets within the same pay run for Working Holiday Makers (WHM). For example, if an employee is set to receive $2,000 in one pay cycle, and the $45,000 threshold is reached after the first $1,000, the first $1,000 should be taxed at 15%, and the remaining $1,000 at 30% — both within the same pay cycle, using mixed tax brackets.

    At the moment, Xero applies one tax bracket to the entire pay cycle. However, according to the ATO guidelines, doing so results in undercharging the employee, which…

  15. So simple but not available. To record an absence i.e. sickness (unpaid) IN DAYS and to have a simple report showing dates and number of days sick.

  17. set the number of decimals places e.g. 2 so when Xero applies a award factor e.g. 1.5x award rate the results only displays to two decimals place in their pay.
    Awards are published to two decimals places that's all we are required to pay in Australia.
    Fixing the rounding wastes so much time.

  19. When going to Payroll -> Pay Employees -> (inside your payrun) -> (Inside an employee's pay)
    There is an option to drop down the list of employees included in the pay-run to change between. Could this be made much bigger please.

    Same goes for teh Drop-Down in the Employee Setting Pay-Template tab

  20. I think it would be fantastic if expenses were able to be linked to payroll/ pay run. Expenses are great and the app is really easy to use but from a processing point, most firms pay with their the payroll. You currently you have to create a expense suspense and clear the expenses to that and then manually add the expenses to payroll which also get posted to the expense suspense- it all a bit of a hassle and would be fantastic if the expenses could just be added to payroll, in the same way the leave does.
