Invoice Reminders - Increase # of reminders that can be set up
Hi,
Please can you allow more than 5 reminders, we chase to strict deadlines so 5 isn't enough. Does there need to be a limit?
Thanks
Ryan
Would possibly need to consider the # of communications individual contacts are receiving if you had unlimited reminders.
To get a sense of what our customers would be looking for - do you have a # of reminders in mind that would most suit your business, Ryan? 🙂

I second this, it's hurting our business and increases effort - please solve urgently XERO

It makes no sense that there is a limit. Does Xero not think we care about getting paid once we've sent 5 reminders?
Change to unlimited until paid. (or its too much coding then change it to 100,000 or something) -

I have the same question as Ryan above. Unlimited reminders would save us a lot of hassle and additional admin work.

More than 80% of our invoices are paid late and sometimes we have to send up to 10 reminders over the course of 3-4 months to get paid.
So, 5 automatic invoice reminders aren’t getting the job done and we have to send more manually, which is quite time-consuming and we often forget to do that.
Please, Xero, increase the number of automatic invoice reminders up to 10.

Currently Xero limits the number of invoice reminders to five, which must be hard coded to the number of days before or after an invoice is due. Would be better if Xero would permit a frequency of sending reminders for past due invoices, i.e. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc. If you have varying payment constructs with your clients, having only five reminder points is limiting. Especially for the slow paying clients.

I think instead of increasing the number of reminders that can be set, can the option not just be set to run until the invoice is paid or manually stopped. Such as every 7, 10 or 30 days until paid or manually stopped. I cant see a reason why reminders would only be sent for a set number of times and then stop, as is the case now. I think this is an important update as I didn't realise reminders had stopped being sent to some customers and they just assume I have stopped chasing.

Hi,
I have the same question as Ryan above. Unlimited reminders would save us a lot of hassle and additional admin work. Now, once the 5 automated reminders have been sent out by Xero, our admin assistant takes over and manually sends reminders until the invoice has been paid.
Thanks for your consideration!
