NZ Tax - Adding Correspondence to Tax Return
It would be great and more efficient if we could add correspondence to the tax returns, rather than have to send separately via myIR.

Hi everyone, while we appreciate hearing how we could make processes more efficient for our customers using Xero, this is not an idea we would be able to take action on.
Inland Revenue do not currently allow correspondence to be sent with a tax return via the Gateway services. This may be feedback that you could share with your IR Account Manager. Thanks

We have loads of Developers (residential & commercial builders) as our clients. These clients need GST refunds/payments at regular intervals. IRD processing is much faster if we add and invoices and correspondences with GST returns. Xero does a great job, but I have noticed that when we file GST returns via Xero- we just can't add any supporting/attachments. This must change, so please vote so we all can be benefitted.

We would like to see Xero Tax importing all letters from IRD, a little bit like Plugin Accountant did (who were liquidated) There was also the option to email the letters to the clients. It would be great to have all this in one program

Inland Revenue allows receipts and correspondence to be added to GST 101 returns filed online. Please add that functionality in XPM.
