  1. Default invoice due date / contact due date can be set when integrated with other products that fed the invoices in. Currently it is overriden with due date from integrated system

    Setting due date so we can clearly see what is overdue is an excellent feature and would help significantly with accounts

  3. Update new Invoicing to allow sending invoices to contact groups as you can in the classic invoicing. It's ridiculous that something so useful has been left behind in the switch to the new style. I need to be able to amend the invoices I send out based on the individual needs of the group. It saves so much time to be able to create a default set of drafts that I can amend rather than having to go to each individual and create an individual invoice within that group. Please guys, piull this across!

    Thanks for getting involved and sharing your interest for contact group invoicing, everyone. Our latest updated for new invoicing means you can now create a new invoice for a contact group! 😊

    If you've still be using classic invoicing, switch to the new version first through the banner at the top, or link at the bottom of any invoice.

    Next time, you create an invoice for a Contact group you'll be taken to enter the details for your group invoice, in new invoicing. We appreciate all your input and feedback through the idea here.

  5. Ability to have partial payments through Stripe.

    Purpose: Users can easily set up partial payment in one invoice rather than having to create separate invoices.

  6. When returning to Sales/Purchases Overview page ALL Invoices/Bills Xero automatically scrolls down a page moving past the first few lines.
    Would it be possible to suspend this action please ?

  7. When typing a quote, available stock used to show (when you typed a figure in the "quantity" field (if available stock was less than required the open window would turn red) but it doesn't now. It would be great if this feature were also added to invoices (and quotations as before) so that one didn't need to check stock on a different page for each item being invoiced. I note that it shows when typing a credit note, so it must be possible!

  8. Invoices - Prefix in Date Format

    It would be great we could choose an invoice prefix in a date format that automatically updates each day. For example 20231123-01, 20231124-01 02 03 etc.

    I track my invoices by the date in which I send them so this feature would save me alot of time instead of having to manually update the date in the invoice prefix each day.

  9. Thank you for the 'Today - tomorrow' options in date selections but we would really benefit, and use regularly, a 'Yesterday' option given we often Invoice customers 'after' they have collected goods etc.

  10. Allow the contact's account number <ContactAccountNumber> to be included on Branding Theme invoices (and other documents).

    The <ContactAccountNumber> is allowed to be included on system default invoices.

    Just rounding back, we'll shift this idea to delivered. For anyone coming across the idea here - Currently within a Project you can click on the Quotes & invoices tab to view Invoices that have been raised with the Project assigned and this will also show the Invoice and Due dates. 😊

  15. Remove the feature of 'Other Previous Earnings', or an option of allowing us to choose whether to have this feature. Grouping all previous pay items into 'Other Previous Earnings' in the same financial year is confusing and our employees won't understand what it is for. Please get rid of it!

  18. When generating quotes or invoices in foreign currencies, the amount should get automatically converted based on the current conversion rate. At the moment this needs to be done manually as the system just changes the currency without actually converting the value. This can be quite tedious if there are a large number of items or prices in an invoice.

  19. There's an inconsistency between different parts Xero systems. For example:

    New Invoicing has Autosave.
    New Contacts require us to use the Save button.

    Reports:
    Accounts receivable reports refer to Invoices.
    Accounts Payable reports ALSO refer to Invoices ... Xero terminology for Payables is Bills.

    Is there a reason for these differences and lack of consistency across the Xero platforms?
