  1. New holiday regulations from 1 January 2024 to commence from 1 April 2024. The new legislation from 1 April is only based on 4 weeks so it would appear the only option is to manually calculate the enhanced holiday pay.

    It would be good in time if it was possible in Xero Payroll to calculate the enhanced holiday on selected pay elements only such as overtime, bonuses, commission, etc.

    We use two other payroll software packages that allow this process of selecting specific elements to calculate the enhanced holiday so it is possible.

  3. Our auditor wants to make sure that when a new supplier gets added to xero that the bank account is checked by a second user. This is the same for any edits to an existing supplier that a second user checks the bank account.

  4. Hi

    I would like a feature in the short term cash flow where when a repeated manual entry transaction is made that you can edit only one instance like a repeated meeting in outlook.
    An example is that i have made a regular Money In transaction yet i cannot remove a single instance when the actual invoice is created and i am overstating incoming revenue.

  6. Backend Autopay Enrollment
    I would like to enter autopay information for each client on the backend instead of them having to set up an account. my clients agree to autopay as part of their service agreement. This should be available on Xero as it is on other platforms.

  8. When I create a sales credit note for an invoice, there is no option to send it to the client at the same time as approving it. Also, Xero sends me back to the original invoice when I approve the credit note, so in order to send a copy to the client, I have to:
    - create the credit note
    - open the credit note
    - send the credit note

  9. Currently, each separate line in a sales credit note has to be separately assigned to a Project. There should be tickyboxes so that the lines can be assigned en masse, as there is for bills.

  10. Linking Purchase Order to Bill

    Purpose: To copy the details from the po to populate the forwarded bill from email fields.

    This would enable the ease of processing bills; using the data already on the po and verifying the costs accordingly.

    Also this is vital, so that you can match multiple bills to the same po.

  11. Overpayments should appear in the Find & Match for Customers.
    If a customer pays their correct amount owing, but an overpayment on their account hasn't been allocated against an invoice, it is impossible to reconcile.
    Users have to go into Contacts, check if there is an overpayment, allocate the overpayment against an invoice then go back into the Bank Reconciliation page.
    Users should be able to tick the invoices being paid and the overpayment that was used to reconcile in Find & Match.

  13. Ability to draft future payruns - ie more than 1 darft payrun. Especially at Christmas time. I would like to draft up future payruns before Igo on leave, but still have the ability to adjust this week payrun for overtime etc. At the moment I can't move forward until I complete current payrun. or i have to do un unscheduled payrun to fix it. Very time consuming

  15. We have to do annual quotes for the service provided.

    So we do 1 day quote and then multiply that 1 day quote with the total days of service provided. If there can be a option of have a total of 1 day price and then a separate section underneath to show the total of certain no. of days, that would be great.

  16. We are in the building industry and receive building contracts with an income schedule. It would be good if Xero had the ability for us to email a payment schedule into Xero, similar to how you can email a bill into Xero, and Xero could automatically create draft invoices in accordance with the schedule. The user can then review the draft invoices and approve them as the stages are completed.

  18. In Projects, when you are assigning an expense to an estimated expense, you have to press tab twice to begin entering the name of the estimated expense you want to assign it to. When the pop-up appears, you should be immediately able to start entering the information that is the only thing you can do in that pop-up.

  19. Can there be a system setting which controls the default option on Invoices for the Approve button.
    It is currently Approve & Email and we would like to have the default as just Approve.

    If it was a system setting companies could chose best option for them.
