XPM - Hide Archived Contacts
New XPM Contacts that link to multiple clients shows archived contacts when search. This is confusion to know which contact to select when the client has archived entities, if use incorrect one then not using 1 main contact. Currently having to select each one till find the main contact with current contact info.
Need to block out archived contacts from showing or atleast show a symbol against them so know not to select it.3 votes -

Hubdoc - Auto add new suppliers when publishing documents to Xero
For new suppliers in Hubdoc, the supplier transaction in Hubdoc at the top should continue into the Xero configuration - if it is in the Hubdoc transaction section it should continue to the bottom section in the xero configuration rather than having to enter it as a new supplier in the Xero section. Also it would be easier if xero was just to add the new supplier automatically rather than having to select add new contact every time.

Workpapers - PAYG Instalments section (issue with June CY on Balance Sheet rec)
On the Income Tax workpaper, the first section Tax Provision per P&L has a Less PAYG installments (sic) section.
Xero prefills the dates (e.g. for 2020 FY workpapers):
September 2019
December 2019
March 2020
June 2020All good so far, you can enter the PAYG Instalments that will be included on the tax return.
The final line FY20 Tax to pay/(refund) then agrees to the company tax return. The second section Balance Sheet Income Tax Reconciliation has a Less PAYG installments (sic) section.
Xero prefills the dates (e.g. for 2020 FY workpapers):
June 2019This is good, June 2019 instalment…

Reports: Support for charity reporting
Is there an easy way to create/run reports tailored specifically for charities or is it just me that I am finding it difficult to find ? I've got the charity set up as a non-for-profit organisation which doesn't seem to make much difference at all.
It's disappointed to see Xero doesn't have any reports templates for charities.
Executive report cannot be overtype as needed - It's not possible to change "Profit (Loss)" line within profitability to Surplus/Deficit.
Regarding Current Year Earnings, it isn't currently possible to rename this to current year funds, or to code manual journals from this to…40 votes -
Billable Expenses - Feature to flow through to XPM Clients
It would be great if there was a link between the billable expenses in Xero and XPM that would allow for billable expenses assigned to a client to be created as a cost in XPM. We currently add these manually as a cost on the job.

Practice Manager | Client Reporting - 'Date Added' field
A 'Date Added' field would be great, to show when a client was entered into an XPM account.
It would also be good to add this as a client report criteria, so you can filter dates.

Workpapers - Ability to use Custom Excel Templates
It's been mentioned previously but seems to have fallen off Xero's radar - the ability to use our own Excel workpapers within Xero workpapers would be fantastic.

Practice Manager | Client - Date of Birth
Just a simple one!
Next to the date of birth in Xero PM, could you do a little thingy so the age calculates and shows there?
I've done my best Canva work in the attached to explain better!
And chose my most favourite clients as an example :)158 votesHi community, thanks for all your inputs and support in this idea so far.

AU tax - Split husband and wife interest income
It would be wonderful if we could transfer interest, dividends, annual trust distribution information, and capital gains between a husband and wife (or partners etc) when the accounts are held 50/50 or 1/3 25% etc without having to re-enter the schedule into the other party's tax return.
Link the partners together like it does with a rental schedule.

Practice Manager | Timesheet - Manage job status
It would be a great help if we could update status for a job as and when the timesheet is done.
At the moment we go to each job and update the status at the end of the day. In my opinion this would save lot my time hovering around.
I have attached a screenshot in pdf to better explain.64 votes -
Workpapers - Enable use for non-Xero clients
For non-Xero clients, it would be very useful to be able to use workpapers and include the actual account balance from the Client's accounts, rather than displaying the Xero account balance as nil. As a practice, we use Xero workpapers, but not every single client uses Xero.

Document Packs - Ability to mark as complete
It'd be great if we could have a "Mark as Complete" option for Document Packs. We've got a bunch of Doc Packs that will forever sit in 'sent' because of various reasons and it would be great to clean them up.
Examples of these situations - when a doc pack is sent to multiple people, and maybe one of them dropped into the office to sign the financials in person - we've now got a partly signed document in a Doc Pack, and a physical signature as well. In this situation, it'd be great to be able to mark the…20 votes -
Hubdoc - Use 4 decimal places for Quantity & Price rounding
2 decimal places in Hubdoc is not enough. It must match Xero's 4 decimal places.
I have had to stop recommending Hubdoc to businesses that use item/inventory functions in Xero. Many businesses buy and sell products to the 4th decimal place. When you are dealing with large numbers 2 decimal places are significant. Users have become frustrated with having to do rounding line items and other fixes just to ensure the correct total price/quantity is captured in Xero.

XPM | Files - Integrate shared google drives with XPM
Right now it's not possible to connect XPM to a google drive other than 'My Drive' for a Google Drive user. We hold all our client data on a separate Google workspace drive that is shared within the company and want to connect this client drive, so that tasks and clients on XPM can be linked to client folders or documents in the shared client google drive.
Its not feasible to move those client folders from the shared drive to 'My Drive' in order to access these on Xero practice Manager, and instead we have to paste long link addresses…

Practice Manager | Add Non-Clients for use in a Relationship
In XPM at the moment a Client is either "Active" or "Archived". The relationships function could be extremely powerful if we have the ability to add a "non client" in order to use them to define a relationship. For example, at the moment we can only add directors to a company where the directors are also clients. For us it means that our relationships are on average only 50% complete as on average only 50% of the related parties are also clients with us.
We do not want to add these instances as full clients with us because it will…
