  1. Xero HQ report templates overwrite the order of accounts to alphabetical when accessed at a client. The report templates are in the correct part of the financial statement for the client, but then it defaults to alphabetical order. This requires you to change the order for each client, even though it was done at the HQ level.

  2. When entering a number of invoices for the same customer or vendor it would be great not having to reenter the name for each entry. Recommend the ability to "pin" a name for multiple entries under the same name.

  3. We occasionally have issues when transferring Xero subscriptions with the notification being missed by the other party. Is it possible for the subscriber to receive an email when the transfer period is due to expire and the other party has not accepted?

  4. FBT Returns - I have been informed by Xero Support that FBT Returns can only be created for the following structure types:

    Individual
    Company
    Trust
    Partnership
    Self Managed Superannuation Fund

    Noting that individuals, partnerships and SMSF do not require FBT Returns it seems more prudent to make them available for the club and society structures who actually my have FBT to lodge.

  5. The job budget is a key piece of information for all staff to have visibility. However the Budget field on a job is only visible if staff have Access Financial Data permissions. Giving Access Financial Data permissions allows staff to view and edit client billing details, edit practice subscription and export subscription. Surely, such wide ranging powers is not appropriate for ALL staff.

    Surely this permission should fall under the "Manage Jobs" permission matrix not under Finances permission matrix.

  6. Please can the corporation tax computation include a calculation of the marginal relief.

    This would need to include the amount of associated companies and the calculation of the marginal relief amount rather than just showing the total of marginal relief.

  8. Companies House sync - Client Onboarding

    Would like to see a Companies House sync for this. Our current PM system has this facility and it saves so much time (and is accurate). Also used as a check when submitting annual CS01 forms. We are considering moving to XPM and this would seal the deal

  9. Would it be possible to close sections of the job that you don't use and these stay as default. (Information Tax - job details, custom fields etc.) This would make it easier to see the sections you do use. It would also be useful if you would put them in the order you prefer.

    For example to me the most important section is tasks and these are quite low down the list. I would like this to be a default setting.

  10. Ability to add multiple email addresses for tax payment letters.
    This would be great if looked into very soon.
    We have been manually entering additional email addresses which is a bit of a worry if a character is misspelt.
    When copy and paste is used the changes get made to all clients and is a real disaster.

  13. To have a function that essentially works as a sticky note on the details page of the clients file. Although there is the notes function, it it easily lost within the multiple tabs, however if something was right there on the home screen for all to see it isn't as easily missed/ignored. It could be something simple like a staff member has been trying to get in touch with the client, or bringing attention to an address change, noting the preferred method for documents to be signed etc.

  15. It would be useful to be able to file historic tax returns prior to the dates shown in Xero. I have a client who submitted his own accounts but has never submitted his own tax returns so we need to file 4 returns for him but we are only able to go back 2 years.

    Hi Natalia, just to make sure I'm sharing this back with the right team internally. Where abouts is your client based. Our Tax products for each region are developed separately for their own needs and regulations so this information will make sure I get it back to the right team to consider.

  17. Where the individual client title has been changed to "Executor for" or "Representative for" the declarations should also be updated with this information. Currently the declarations still just use the individual name, who may be deceased or unable to sign on their own behalf.

  18. When preparing an invoice, it would be great if you could replace the radio buttons with check boxes within tasks and also be able to bulk update the Billable status on timesheet entries within a task to Yes, No or Future.
    If you have a task with a lot of timesheet entries, and you only want to bill a few of them, it's very time consuming to have to select one by one to change the Billable status to Future.
