Xero Network | Customer Statement - Enable Adding of All Bills in Bulk
When receiving a Xero customer statement from a supplier, it would be great if we could select all the invoices and add them to our company's Xero in bulk.
Our supplier sends paper invoices during deliveries, and only sends a digital Xero customer statement at the end of the month. Rather than having to scan all the paper invoices, being able to add them IN BULK from the Xero customer statement directly into our Xero account would save a lot of time. Currently, the invoices have to be opened in a new window and individually added as drafts.

Emails to BIlls - Auto capture the bill as tax exclusive
You can set your company preference to tax exclusive or tax inclusive, but the Xero email bills to Xero function does not follow the company settings and always puts to tax inclusive. Can this be as per the company settings? Eg we would like it to always be tax exclusive.

Direct bill payment from Wise
Feature Request: Pay with Wise for Non-UK Companies
We would like to request that Xero extend the “Pay with Wise” / Direct Bill Pay functionality to non-UK companies as well.
Currently, businesses outside the UK need to initiate payments separately in Wise and then sync them back to Xero. Enabling direct Wise bill payments within Xero for non-UK entities would significantly improve efficiency, streamline AP processes, and reduce manual work for global businesses using Xero.
Please consider making this feature available for non-UK Xero organisations.

Purchase Orders - Show subtotals on Approved and Paid
viewing subtotals of approved and paid purchase orders (currently only purchase orders awaiting approval show a subtotal at the top of the page)

Add Product Cost Field to Product Card
There's current a price the product is sold at, but not a cost we purchase it at. Adding this field would set the cost (pre-populate) on a PO when ordered, which could be overridden on a PO if needed.

Add supplier BPAY details in the contact card under the financial details section
Some suppliers only offer BPAY details to pay their invoices, currently Xero only gives the option to add bank account details to the contact card.

Contact - Option to toggle to the next transaction in the contact record
There should be an arrow button on the screen when viewing a bill under a specific contact, so that you can click this and move to the next bill and so on. This would make looking at bills much easier to navigate. At the minute, I am opening up each individual bill from the contact screen in a new tab, to find what I am looking for.

Bills - Quick link to the Draft tab after importing
You have today added a great new feature - the ability to upload Accounts Payable invoices to generate the Draft transaction.
Can I suggest that you have a look at the options available after the invoice has been approved, to then quickly navigate back to the Draft Bills.
This is because it's likely that we upload in batches then approve, however to navigate back to Draft to pick up the next invoice takes quite a few steps!

Bill Upload & Linking Feature
A more streamlined document upload process for supplier invoices and bills would be a valuable addition.
Useful features could include:
- A dedicated “Uploads” section accessible from the main header
- The ability to upload and preview PDF supplier invoices before bills are created or synced
- A simple “Link to Existing Bill” function directly from the uploaded document
- Visibility of key invoice details within the uploads screen, such as supplier invoice number, issue date and total amount
This would significantly improve efficiency for businesses that sync bills from external job management or accounting systems, while also making accounts payable processing more streamlined.

You may have seen on our website that we're in the process of releasing a new feature 'Smart Document capture' that will achieve most of what you've asked here.
The Files inbox will hold files that have recently been uploaded which will move to archived once attached to a transactions.
While you'll be able to first review files, you can then use Smart Document Capture to create or match to transactions in your organisation 😊

Bills - Automatically apply organization settings when creating bills from uploaded files
Prevent invoice scanning technology from splitting out the VAT on a bill where the client's financial settings are set to "VAT scheme - None" and all chart of accounts codes are set to "No VAT" (the client is not VAT-registered).

The suggestion is to have document extraction automatically apply existing organisation defaults, such as tax settings, currency, and tracking categories, when creating transactions.
For now, supplier rules and automation settings can help prefill some details and reduce manual updates. We’ll continue tracking this idea here so the community can share feedback and use cases to help shape future improvements.

Purchase Orders - Search ignore spaces
When searching a purchase order number in the search bar in the purchase order section, it wont find the purchase order if there is a space after the number. This shouldn't be an issue if there is a space next to it. This happens a lot if I am copying and pasting a number into the search bar and it adds in a space next to the number, I then have to go back in and get rid of the space to find it

Contact Credit - Apply credit to Contact
It would be really helpful to be able to allocate a credit note against the supplier account rather than against individual purchase invoices. We receive supplier credit notes for discounts applied for purchases which don't relate to an invoice so the only way we can account it for them is to use any purchase invoice which then reduces the invoice amount. It can be confusing for the supplier when the invoice amounts do not match.

Right now, supplier credit notes in Xero need to be allocated against individual bills, which can be awkward when the credit relates to things like discounts or rebates rather than a specific purchase invoice. We understand how that can create confusion, especially when invoice amounts no longer match what the supplier is expecting to see.
We’re moving this idea to Gaining Support so we can continue to track interest and better understand the impact for customers using this workflow.
If this workflow is causing issues for you, please keep adding examples and details — especially around how often it happens and any workarounds you’re currently using. That context is really valuable.

Track Individual Invoices Within a Consolidated Supplier Account
We operate using a monthly statement from Capricorn Society, which includes multiple suppliers (e.g. Burson, Repco, Motorpass etc..) under one account.
In Xero, we’re currently forced to enter this as one total bill and manually allocate expenses — which means we lose all supplier-level detail.
What’s needed:
- Ability to create a main account (e.g. Capricorn) for the monthly payable
- Ability to enter each supplier invoice individually as it comes in throughout the month
- Each invoice treated like its own supplier record (sub-account), capturing:
- Invoice date
- Invoice number
- Part numbers / descriptions
- Individual invoice totals
- Ability to link all sub-invoices to…

Bills - Awaiting Payment bills summary by supplier
Bills - View bills awaiting payment summarised by supplier with the ability to expand supplier to view invoices and select individually or make changes if required.
You need to use the awaiting payment screen to create batch payments. To make payments you have to select each individual invoice for a supplier which takes time and is inefficient.
Having the ability to view the awaiting payment screen showing summary (total) for the supplier would be helpful. You can still filter dates so you can see everything owed to a supplier within date range. Much like an Aged Payables report. You can…

Contacts - Bills | Upload Bills available in contact record
Can you also add "Upload Bills" under the contact? When a bill comes in, I check to see if it's already in entered by looking at the contact. If not, I go to enter in the bill there and it only provides the manual option. Can you add it to the dropdown under the contact too please?

Feature Request - Purchases Overview
It would be great to be able to filter items listed under purchases overview by whether a document is added or not. I have to manually upload documents for certain type of bills as they are created in a third party application that doesn't bring the document forward.

Option on Bills to allow businesses to make Tracked Inventory unavailable until the Due Date of the Bill has passed
Add the option on Bills to allow businesses to make Tracked Inventory available upon creation of Bill, or unavailable until the Due Date (or available date) of the Bill has passed.
This new option would help businesses manage available inventory when selling products with long production lead-times, so they do not sell inventory that is not yet available despite it being in the system in a future dated Bill.
Additionally, it would be beneficial if Sales Invoices could access the Tracked Inventory from the future dated Bill if the date of the invoice was after the due date (or available…

Inventory - Add new item from an existing Invoice or Quote line
It would be great to be able to add a new product or service to the inventory list directly from a quote or invoice. So if a new product or service was entered into a quote or invoice (with price and account details etc) or it was already added, there could be an option to 'add item to Products and Services' when clicking in the 'Item' area on the left. This would save having to go into Products and Services to add those which may already exist. Please see very crude example attached.

Bills – ‘Upload Supplier Statements’ Feature
Could you add an ‘Upload Supplier Statements’ feature, similar to the existing ‘Upload Bills’ function?
Many businesses receive monthly supplier statements that contain multiple invoices. It would be extremely helpful if users could upload or email a supplier statement into Xero, and Xero could automatically match the statement entries against invoices already recorded in the system.
This would save significant time spent manually reconciling supplier statements, help identify any missing invoices, and improve the accuracy of accounts payable processing.
