  2. Is it possible to add a few extra columns to XPM - All jobs board rather than creating different reports or clicking on different jobs/pages to collate basic client information. I would like to add the following columns to assist with Trusts and Superfunds.

    -Trustee/Company Name
    -Invoice Number

    Currently, if you invoice a Trust e.g. ABC Family Trust for XYZ Pty Ltd (Trustee), I would like to see both entities in Jobs board and not just ABC Family Trust. This comes in handy when chasing payments or matching jobs as a result in separate jobs linked to a Trust or…

  5. Expose the staff billable rate on the XPM API?

    The billable rate for staff timesheets/tasks aren't available for jobs until they are invoiced, and there's no way for integrations with XPM to understand the in-progress cost of a job without getting the staff billable rate... or if there's an override on the job.

  8. As a dedicated Xero partner, I've been leveraging the capabilities of the XPM Suite in conjunction with Seamlss to manage and streamline my operations. While the current integration offers a range of functionalities, I've observed that the existing API limitations are hindering our efficiency.

    One of the most pressing concerns is the manual transfer of sensitive client data, especially Bank Details. My administrative team often finds themselves in the tedious and risky position of copying and pasting this critical information due to the API constraints. This not only consumes valuable time but also poses potential security risks.

    Thanks for all the detail around the different scenarios a pause function for the timer would help with.


    Our team have been taking interest in ideas in the forums here. 

    With the way the timer works with Practice Manager today, developing the ability to pause this would require extensive work and this isn't something we're able to resource at this time.


    As we enhance integrations through practice manager our practice teams will continue to track ideas on the site here, and share if there's any change.

  10. You have 4 other online cloud document management systems listed via XPM. We use SharePoint and would request this to be added as a further option to link our programs for efficiency and easy of use.

    We would then like tasks to be setup in jobs, that we can "link" documents in Sharepoint, to tasks/jobs in XPM.

  11. When you view a contact, and are on the activity view page, it would be great if the each line said what account the activity has been posted against. This way you could see all accounts impacted at once, and not have to click on each individual line item to see what account it is impacting.

  12. In XPM jobs, have the option to view all timesheet narration and time spent in the financial tab. Currently, it only shows the task and time time/cost, but not the narrations. Previous Xero product WorkflowMax had the ability to show all timesheet narration of a job in the financial tab without clicking into the Billing Work Sheet. See attachment 1 for an example.

  13. AUDIT CHECK FOR DIVIDENDS RWT AND IMPUTATION CREDITS IS TOO SENSITIVE - IT IS PICKING UP VERY SMALL ROUNDING AND ALERTING.
    Xero needs to allow for the "rounding" to be accepted - maybe expand the parameters. Unless we go into the return and round it up or down (which is a terrible waste of time) then the alert stays there, and we then get the scenario of anybody looking at the return wondering if there is an error and then they go and check - once again - a terrible waste of time.

  15. Since the creation of the new Job Manager, we are now unable to bulk add new staff members to staff allocations within a job.

    You can bulk add the jobs, but then you need to manually do the job allocations for each job

    When you have a new staff member and you want to assign them to 300 jobs, it would make it easier if we could do this in bulk rather than on a job by job basis.

  16. We wish to undertake analysis by looking for the data contained in the "TIME PRODUCTIVITY - % Billable v Non-Billable Time - Staff Summary" report on a monthly basis in a tabular format.
    Unfortunately even though this report is called a "Table Report", XPM does not allow for the year to date date range to be entered but then have the data populate in the report on a monthly basis. Such a feature would greatly enhance a practice's capability of keeping an eye on the operational data for service firms like accounting and legal practices

  19. At the moment, within XPM staff permissions, there is either full access for managing invoices (view, edit, create and delete invoices), or nothing. Staff should have access to view previous invoices for tax return preparation, but not necessarily the permission to edit, create or delete invoices. Would like more access granularity for this feature.
