Offline/Online Syncing Xero Accounting Desktop Program?

I'm thinking along the lines of Dropbox. When you dont have internet connection and a file or folder is added, obviously the file is not distributed to the cloud, but when the computer gets internet access it Syncs all of its data with the cloud.
Im thinking of the same thing for Xero, if for some reason internet connection is lost, you could still use all the same functionality, then once it gets online then it Syncs all the information with the cloud.
What does everyone think?

    I need the functionality of a desktop version that I have access and control of my company data at ALL times, regardless of internet access. The internet in my rural area can be problematic and my business grinds to a halt when I can't even do paperwork when off-line. Just think about this....When you cannot connect to XERO for any reason there is No access to YOUR data! They control everything. If ever in dispute with Xero, or miss your renewal,.....you cannot access!

    Fantastic idea and one Iv thought of myself and wished Xero offered... That way you could work remotely and sync when back in town!!
