Invoices - Bulk update Due Date

Ability to flag multiple invoices and update the due date.

Purpose: It saves users’ time to update the due date in bulk, especially when their customers have some special terms that can change the due date of invoices.

As part of the latest enhancements with Xero Analytics our insights team have developed this capability within Short-term cashflows! - You can now update the expected payment date of 10x invoices at a time 😊 - See help on Xero Central for more detail

    Yes yes yes!! It was YEARS ago that I first commented about this and NOTHING has happened to impliment this even though hundreds of customers need it. Come on Team Xero!! Sort this out!!

    Yes, we need this. We have an integration with Lightspeed Retail and any on-account sales invoices that come through default to the due date on the same date it was created. We need to be able to select them and specify the due date for 20th of following month for statements, etc. It is very tedious to have to edit each one individually.

    Hi Matthew, nice thought. A quick scan of other suggestions reveals a lot of comments and support from users but it would appear the xero development team may be willing but not able to complete many suggestions. E.g. https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198-for-small-businesses/suggestions/45542638-contacts-show-information-on-one-page has over 500 votes to simply revert back to something that existed and it appears much time has passed without a solution. The staffing and budgets needed for suggestion resolutions may be lacking. You have my vote and I look forward to a xero that resources the teams that is willing and also able to work on this and the many other customer suggestions with merit.

    It's quite simple.

    We want to be able to select and bulk edit the due date for multiple invoices at a time, regardless of how far in the future they are due.

    Xero have implemented a very convoluted and limited work-around using the short-term cashflow projections, but have not given us the easy and powerful solution we have been asking for for over three years now. There are requests with over 4000 views and dozens of upvotes.

    It is about time they provide us with a fix to this critical issue!
