Invoice - Display sales margin

Xero has the sell price and cost price of our products. When my sales team create a quote or invoice, why isn’t there a display of the profit margin on invoices and quotes to help them see their profitability?

    Please revisit this feature.
    It is absolutely essential for small business to know their margin on quotes or invoicing, prior to displaying to client.

    It is absolutely crazy this is not included - we are having to use external programmes to calculate this and are thinking of dropping Xero altogether because of it

    To be clear the resolution is to pull the data into a different program (like Excel) to do something you could put in place with a simple equation per line?

    I was looking for info on how to access the margins on our invoices and saw these remarks. Why have I filled in all the cost prices if we can't use them? I'm very pleased with Xero so far, but this is indeed a major shortcoming. Hope you can change your mind and plan it in asap, Kelly! Many thanks.

    I've had this feature on all previous software I've used for quoting. This is essential for me. I shouldn't be using a calculator to work out my profit margin.

    This should be such a basic standard feature...business is all about what profit you are making! Isn't the reason we are all using Xero is because we want a easy to use accounting program? Even if I filter where they suggest by the days I have written the invoice, I can't get how much money I am making from individual clients or customers.

    It's mad!

    Would be even better if we could produce a report, by invoice number, which display cost and sale price for each item. Margins are easy to work out then.....

    This is a great idea. It would make my life easier, so I am not going between sheet, webpage tabs, etc... to do my calculations.

    Can't believe Xero doesn't have this feature, it would be so easy to add
