Invoicing Address
when creating an invoice I would like to see the full customer address appear on the invoice and remain visable once the cus name is entered and allow us to edit the address details on the invoice and give us the option to either use this address for this invoice only or update them in the contacts section.
Hi Peter, while not constantly visible you can view and edit the customer address while creating or editing an invoice in Xero atm.
If you click in the 'To' field you'll find you can view both the Postal and Delivery address for a contact and edit these from within the invoice itself if you choose - More detail on how this works here
If you'd like more options it sounds like you might be interested in supporting and adding you vote to this idea for multiple addresses which would allow you to enter and hold other instances of addresses for a contact.

We prefer the current view on the classic invoicing, where we can see the address while making the invoice. Our invoices are generated and sent through from a different infield job system and often the address shows Christchurch as the suburb and again as the City. The new invoicing we cannot see the address and amend before sending. It is too slow to approve, go and view, amend, then send.

When I open a invoice in new invoicing I just see a name and no other details. We have thousands of contacts in xero and sometimes 2 or more people have the same name. How are we to tell who is who if we are just given a name with no address, phone number or email address. Its completely unusable. What are these time saving features? everything takes longer. I do not want to do multiple clicks to find information that used to be visible I enter 30-80 invoices a day, New invoices is not only slow to load but takes longer to enter the same information.

I see that we need to switch to the new version of Invoicing on Xero by September 2024.
Currently on the old version invoices you can see the customers full address and country on the screen which is useful if you supply to Jersey/Guernsey, EU and rest of the world to have a quick overview of the VAT situation.
On the new version it would appear that you have to preview the invoice to see this information which is costly on time, are you working on including the address on the Invoice on the new version?
