Reporting: Export reports in MS Word format
It would be great if we could print reports to word allowing simple formatting prior to providing to the client, the download to excel requires significant formatting and while the PDF looks great it doesn't allow for flexibility eg to fit to one page, adjust wording etc

Hi Matthew, appreciate you sharing your idea here however do want to be open that we don't have plans for adding more export format options for reports.
Currently where needing to make adjustments to reports from Xero, you can export to Excel or Google sheets.

The issue with exporting to Excel or Google sheets, is the format is unsuitable to send to clients. No line spaces between headings etc. We have to reformat the reports for the clients. Ie insert lines between headings etc.
The export layout needs to be improved!

It would also be handy to be able to open up (or print) Quotes in Word in order to further edit them. My boss used to use Workflow Max just for quoting and I’ve recently got him to drop that and start using Xero. The only thing he dislikes is that you can’t edit the quote in Word like you could in WFM. That would be a great tool to have.
