    Can we compile a list of accounting software alternatives available please?
    An additional note on the level of migration / import that was possible will be great.

    I think some of us has grown into a position, or will be shortly, where user access permissions will be too critical to hope for, and they will no choice but to switch to another accounting package. Company size does not necessarily come into play here is that is Xero’s thought of ignoring this. I am sure many small business owners have, or will be, handing over the ropes to a key employee where they will most definitely require user access control if they extract somewhat from the day to day running of a business. It takes some time switch so this process will have to be start well in advance and it is clear that user access permissions will not be added in Xero.

    It greatly surprises me how comprehensive user access does not form part of the initial release. It is core functionality for any business application in my mind.
    If the developers can please acknowledge this thread and respond with the progress update and estimated release date then us, the users and your custoners, will feel less blatantly ignored?

    Please please please, this is not complicated functionality to add. I cannot understand the hesitation to add this. Surely there is no downside?
