Thanks to everyone that participated in and shared back on the team’s research in the new invoicing layout. Taking your feedback on board our teams have made some improvements to the layout of new invoicing, including changes to the layout of fields and buttons.
By rearranging and condensing space between fields, you’ll find there is less white space than previously shown, making it easier to navigate and tab through fields when entering your invoices.

We’re actively looking into changes within the invoicing grid that’ll go further to condensing information on the screen and reducing actions when entering your invoices. We’ll update as there is more information to share on this.

Sorry - Like everyone else, I am having issues with the new invoice format. I have tried searching through these forums for answers or help but it seems that everyone is complaining about the same thing and I can't find the answer. I use a laptop for work and the new version of invoices does not fit on my screen. It means that I have to scroll to see all of the columns and also scroll if I need to add more than one item to an invoice. With the classic version, I could add multiple items. It is like the font and columns are too large in the new format. I also find that i have to click through items when tabbing that didn't require a click before including:
Online payment, currency, tax and Add contacts last items. All of these you didn't have to tab through before. Can we turn them "off" on new invoice format? Please see screen shots to show you how the new invoice doesn't fit on my screen. Please keep Classic Invoicing. Learn from other companies... like Coca Cola. No one liked the new flavour and they ended up having to make Classic Coke again.
