    Hi community, we value there are many different aspects within new invoicing where our invoicing users can see small changes to flows and actions could make a big difference to your workflow and experience.

    I can assure you we’re engaged, we’re listening and we’re taking all your feedback into consideration as we keep building on new invoicing.

    While we’ll continue to keep you updated on specific releases that relate to things that’ve been mentioned in this idea, our teams have also begun some research to get a deepened sense of our invoicing users for future improvements. We’d like to connect with you all in this idea, and invite you to share further feedback through our survey. Your insights will be invaluable to the team as they continue to plan and prioritise in this space.

    This garbage software is now marking invoices as both sent and unsent simultaneously. I just sent some invoices and history says they were unsent and sent with the exact same timestamp. What the **** is this? I can't even work out if my f***ing invoices are even sent now.

    Given they've chosen to do this mid-financial year and make switching software more difficult than it could have been (probably not an accident), I've just asked them for a 1 month credit to be used at my convenience so I can reactivate at EOFY and let my accountant do his thing. I'd suggest anyone else who needs to now change software demands the same

    Wild that they went through with this given the backlash.

    At any rate, I've started the process of switching to a different app (Thriday). It definitely has a few features missing and is sole trader focussed so no good for bigger companies, but it beats this garbage. And they actually have a phone number and humans on the other end, so if anyone else is in the same boat it's worth a look

    Don't tell us you're engaged/listening/taking feedback. Feedback from day one on this has been that the new invoicing style is awful and literally nobody wants it. This is not something you can refine a bit at a time- it's not just a little rough around the edges, it's a total lemon.

    After seeing the warning again yesterday that from Thursday we're stuck using the new invoicing system I've just had to close my shop for the morning to start the process of switching software, which will easily cost me a couple of days of income this week to sort out. I couldn't possibly be more angry at Xero at this point, this is the epitome of being tone deaf.

    Hi all, we thank you for all sharing detail on your experience when using new invoicing in Xero. Taking this on board our team have been reviewing the line item grid where you enter details in new invoicing. We have work underway to improve and address points raised such as providing a more compact layout so you can see more at once, showing full account and tracking names, and more direct options to reduce clicks and steps in common actions.

    For the time being, small adjustments can be made to your computer scale or browser zooming to see more detail at once, although we understand this is not the ideal solution.

    I'll return to let you know when we're closer to release and can share more of the changes.
