absolutely essential that you should not be able to post a pay-run unless all timesheets have been approved. It would not be uncommon that the person in charge of approving timesheets in a business is different to the person running payroll, as it is in my small business. And if overpayment or underpayment have occurred as a result of this feature not existing, it can be incredibly tricky to rectify.
