    Hi everyone, we're really grateful for your insight into how you use and apply sales tax when trading with customers. Our team have found this very valuable as we continue to develop auto sales tax across other areas of Xero.

    With that in mind, our team have been working on auto sales tax within quotes and would love to get your feedback on it.     I sell to many zip codes, and having it on invoices is critical for proper billing and tax reporting. Having said that, I cannot have a "default" tax on quotes that is not accurate. It's a poor customer experience to see two different numbers for tax from quote to invoice.
    Due to our large matrix of zip codes it is a large burden for our team to quote properly but manually calculating tax on quotes. It removes the great feature on invoices since all the work was already done on the quote.
    Honestly, this should be a no-brainer to get done. If a fee is required by Avalara then at least make it an option for your customers.
