    Thanks for sharing this idea 🙂 We’ve moved it to Gaining Support.

    We can see how being able to manually enter a check number would be helpful, especially where a check has been misprinted or needs to be reprinted. This would give more flexibility to keep check numbers aligned with the physical check stock while still focusing on getting the bank account reconciled.

    not only that, if you have a new bank and have been with Xero for many years, there has to be something in place where old cheques can be archived so numbers can be repeated in a new year or subsequent years.
