    Thanks for sharing this idea. We can understand how being able to create a Receive Money transaction directly in the Xero Accounting mobile app could make it easier to capture transactions while you're away from your computer.

    For now, if the payment has already appeared in your bank feed, you can create the transaction during bank reconciliation in the mobile app. If it hasn't reached your bank feed yet, you'll need to wait until you're back on a web browser to enter it manually.

    The Cash Sales into a 'Petty Cash' account do not have a Bank Feed and wouldn't necessarily reconcile to any other document. For example, £50.00 Cash Sales recorded into a Petty Cash Account, followed by a £25.00 cash purchase for supplies would not appear on any sort of statement or bank feed. There would be a physical balance of £25.00 in the Petty Cash Tin.
