    So new updates arriving and this simple addition to an invoice again not added.There are endless new apps to get paid which seem pretty redundant. Nothing jolts customer realisation of the amount they owe than seeing the balance they owe appear on every new invoice they receive. This simple addition also reminds people they are behind in payments without the confrontational "red" notices

    Years go by and this standard invoice feature is not added

    Nearly everyone who sends me an invoice has balance brought forward. Not sure what systems they use. I also put this forward couple of years ago but it seems to get ignored
