    To provide some clarity around the updating of widgets in the new homepage - Because some organisations manage very large amounts of data, we’ve updated how widgets load to support the speed and reliability of the experience.

    To help the homepage load efficiently, some widgets in these organisations show data from the last 24 hours by default. These widgets are designed to automatically update with the latest figures from the last 24 hours when you log in. If you need to see the most up-to-date numbers in-between the 24-hourly automatic updates, simply click the refresh icon in the top right corner of the widget.

    To confirm, this is only applied to organisations with higher data volumes to ensure Xero stays fast and performant for everyone. Thanks

    Understand how having notifications for bank feed refreshes added to the Task list could be helpful, and great to hear you find this widget useful. 🙂

    Our product teams are taking on board all feedback around the new homepage and I'll be sure to share if there are any plans made to add this, here.

    Thanks so much for taking the time to share this, and for calling out how the renew / refresh bank feed experience on the new homepage.


    We’ve moved this idea to Gaining support. This means it’s not currently scheduled on our roadmap, but we agree it could improve key banking workflows, so we’re now watching community votes and comments to help us prioritise it alongside other homepage and bank feeds work.


    Please keep adding any extra details about your workflow (for example, how often you’re refreshing and how many bank accounts you manage) and encourage others who’d benefit to add their vote — that will help us understand the impact when we’re reviewing future changes to the homepage bank accounts widget.

    Very Important. Some reporting takes so long to spool, it times out resulting in having to break down the report into quarters in order to fulfill an annual reporting for auditors. From what I have been told by many IT personnel, this is primarily the affects of so much information it sorts through to get to the information we need. We have archived 85% of our product inventory and 65% of our customer listing but it is the General ledger accounts that hold the majority of the information. We need to archive a few years of these accounts and asking for suggestions
