    Hi team, thanks for continuing to engage and share support in why setting the physical address as the delivery address would be most helpful in Purchase orders.

    We know it's been sometime since our last update here and want you to know that this idea has not gone unnoticed. With works moving along in the Purchase orders space we now have a team that'd like to dive deeper into the potential of this idea.

    We'd love to hear more insight from you in the idea here to help their discovery;

    • What are you currently doing in Xero to achieve what you need in correctly communicating with suppliers on delivery of goods?
    • If this feature was developed how would this change your use of Purchase orders? What impact would this have for your business and purchase workflow?

    Our product team will be paying close attention to all your feedback on this…

    Dear Xero
    I support this idea. It definitely would save a lot of time and would automate the process. It also makes sense to have the default address the 'physical' location of the company - not the PO Box which is what is what currently gets defaulted to each time, even if we update it.

    We request and support this change being made.

    Thank you.
    Jo

    Hi Community! 👋 we're progressing well with our inventory permissions development, with plans to progressively roll this out early in the new year. We'll be providing a Products & services permissions set for the Invoice only role.

    You'll have the ability to choose;

    • No access
    • View
    • View and create/edit
    • View, create/edit and adjust stock

    I'll round back again as this begins to rollout. 🙏

    It would be incredibly valuable for procurement/purchasing officers to view and be able to make changes in this area (this is part of their job!). They do not need to see the rest of the financial accounts.
