Thanks for sharing through the idea here, everyone. While we do roll over the losses schedules from prior year into the new year as a losses worksheet for non individual tax returns, we understand there may be more areas which we can roll this over.
It'd be of great help and appreciation from our product team if you could share more detail of the losses you're referring to and the specific tax return you'd like to see this developed for. Thanks!

Hi community, this idea has been created from feedback in this initial idea. While we are interested to get a better pulse on the interest in this, we want to front foot that we don't have any plans for this change.
Switching from landscape to portrait was made based on a lot of feedback and testing, so we'd want to see a fair amount of support through the idea here to consider making another change.

Hi everyone, this idea has been created from feedback on this initial idea. We understand why you'd like your exported return to appear with the same columns hidden and would like to get a better view of the overall community interest in this from the idea here.
While we don't have immediate plans, we will keep an eye on this here and share if there are any updates.

Thanks for your feedback of how Xero handles sick leave entitlements, Natalee.
I've made sure this is shared back with our product team, and while we can understand the reason for change you'd like to see here, we want to be open that this isn't something we have planned in the immediate future.
Right now, if an employee isn't included in the scheduled pay run when their leave anniversary date falls, you'll need to do a manual leave adjustment to grant the employee the missed entitlement.
If there's any news of change for this, we'll update you here.
An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks Natalee, appreciate how a warning could also be useful in this scenario. It's also not something we have planned for the time being but we'll begin to get a sense of the overall interest in the community from your idea here, and continue to review as the team plan and prioritise. We'll let you know if there's any progress to share.

Hi Olga, really appreciate all the detail in your steps and the screenshots you provided.
I tried testing this myself with a Chrome browser and did get the same errors and behaviour you described, so have raised this with our product team. I'll keep you updated of any information I get back from them on this, here.
An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for rounding back on the payment side of things and how this is reflecting in your accounts, Olga. I believe what ever is going on with this is separate to the other errors that you have noted in the steps you've numbered, and I was unable to replicate the same behaviour when testing.
I would really recommend raising a case with our specialists with both these examples on the difference in payment to what's showing in the account, as well as giving the team access to your organisation so they can get in for a closer analysis.
Welcome to share any findings that you get with them through the idea here, if you feel helpful to others as well. -

Appreciate your feedback on how you'd like to see new invoicing improved to create more efficiency processing sales with Xero. There are a couple of different requests around defaults looped into this one idea that would be good to unpick and keep separate so we can keep you updated on any progress for each individually.
For interest around being able to set a default for the 'Approve and Send' button - There's an idea that's been started for this here that I'd recommend joining.
Kathy, your recent comment sounds more like the ability to be able to send invoices to a contact group with new invoicing - we totally get the interest in this too and have an idea for this here that you can follow.
Taking on board feedback we have made a change with the new send experience so now, selections for 'Include PDF of invoice' and 'Send…An error occurred while saving the comment Sorry for the back and forth there, Olga. I see your came back to our specialists and they've now confirmed there's an issue with the 'Send me a copy' not remembering the last selection and this is now with our product team. Our specialists will reach back out as soon as it's resolved. Thanks

Hi everyone, we appreciate everyone who signed up and participated in the teams discovery here. Right now, focus has needed to shift to other high priority work.
We value all the input and feedback we've received from the teams discovery, and based on this they found that there is more work needed in solving this for our customers.
We have good foundations to build from when we are able to bring attention back to this. For now we will move back to submitted and let you know when there is progression to share.
An error occurred while saving the comment Apologies about the Calendly invite link issues, everyone. We've just updated this in my post and you should now be able to find dates in June to book in. Thanks, and we appreciate your interest in feeding back to the team! 🙂

Hi everyone, leading on from my last update we have now released improvements to eInvoicing for those in the UK! With the latest change you'll now find we've made it easier for you to opt-in to receive your Xero subscription bill via eInvoicing. You can now do this from your online invoice (My Bills page) instead of through the Billing contact page. Helping save you time and reduce manual data entry every month.😁
We understand there are other regions that'd still like to see this functionality developed and we'll shift back to submitted and share when there is news of moving this further afield.
We also wanted to address the recent comment of data sharing - We'd like to confirm that Xero do not share data with Peppol.com. We use the Peppol network and the subscription invoices are sent using our wholly owned provider, Tickstar. An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for sharing the Xero Central link, Andy.
@Benjamin, the section on 'Receive your Xero subscription invoices via eInvoicing' has the step by step that should help you set this up 😊

Hi team, to export a list of all Tracking categories in your org, you may find the Tracking Summary report of use to you here. Alternatively, you could run the Account Transactions report and Summarise by the Tracking category.
The one caveat here for both reports is that they'll only show a list of the tracking options that have been used within the date range the report is run.
An error occurred while saving the comment @Timea, an organisation is intended for a single business so right now your client would need an organisation for each entity.
We have a similar idea for this sort of functionality that I've linked below and you might be interested in adding your support for, too. 🙂

Thanks for the detail in your idea here, Paul. I had a bit of a test of this myself and have checked in with our reporting team.
It doesn't quite appear in the modal once the report's run - this is something that we'll look to improve.
However, it's possible to enter multiple terms which will each be searched and return results for (like OR as an operator) - All you need to do is enter a comma(,) and space between each condition.
For example A0, L0 or A0, A1, A2, 🙂
An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for the feedback, Paul- Yes, this is what was meant when saying it doesn't appear in the modal.
You're totally right on the way you go about clearing the selection completely - You'll need to remove the filter than re-add.
Our team have it on the backlog to improve how this is working. I want to be open this could be some way off, as they have a few things road mapped atm getting out all the functionality from the older to newer version of reports. -

Hi Donald, I've updated the title of your idea to make this simpler for others that are interested to find.
Though we don't have a report that'll show the payment method atm, you could run the Receivable or Payable Invoice Detail reports to view much of this information.
Once you've customised the report as you like, you can save as Custom to easily access that view anytime.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Naomi, is there a reason you'd rather see it in the Invoice & Bill screens rather than a report?

An error occurred while saving the comment Oh, wait I see you've started one for auto send of receipts here(https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198/suggestions/45398173) and I'll update the title of your idea here 🙂
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Denise, it looks like you may have 2 separate ideas represented here? - 1 in the title and a different one in the detail
If so, you're welcome to start one for each so we can track them separately here and get for support in each.
For now to bulk edit, you may find our article in Xero Central useful - https://central.xero.com/s/article/Update-or-edit-multiple-contacts

Hi Sandra, could you provide a bit more detail of the idea you have here? Would this be for the ability to automatically reconcile transfer transactions from one bank account to another?

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for your idea, Gayo. We try to keep one idea per thread so others understand what they're adding their support to and help feedback internally to our teams.
Welcome to start a second idea for the ability to view last date a statement was sent to a customer in the Aged reports, then we can get a sense of the interest in that too. 🙂

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Nicola, sounds like you'd find this useful at a practice level?
We have an idea for client notes (https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198/suggestions/44961118) or another when in a Xero organisation(https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198/suggestions/44988703). Let me know your preference here, and I can merge to the most relevant. Welcome to support both though 🙂 -

Hi Sam, we really appreciate your feedback. Our Product team have taken a look at your response and have come back with the following:
The reason Xero Tax rolls a Losses Schedule into a Losses worksheet is due to the fact schedules are lodged with the ATO, whereas worksheets are not. A tax payer may be required to lodge a schedule one year, but not the next, therefore we create the worksheet. If the tax payer does need to lodge the schedule in the following year, by simply adding the schedule on the return it will populate the worksheet figures into the schedule.
In relation to your second point around being able to edit the carried forward capital losses, we've taken this request on board and will consider it in the future. The reason the figures do not update is due to the CGT worksheet being required to understand how the losses have been applied for the CGT event. CGT worksheets are not sent to the ATO, but rather to assist the user in preparing the return. The CGT worksheet also provides Xero Tax with the information necessary for other aspects of the return. For example, to determine the losses carried forward we need to know how they were applied for current year. Another example is on the trust return, in the beneficiary statement there are fields sent to the ATO around how much the gross capital gain, losses applied and discount applied (F1, F2, F3) which Xero Tax is only able to calculate based on the CGT worksheets.
We appreciate that there are multiple ways to prepare a return and we'll look into the recommendation you've made. Thanks
