Thanks for your ongoing interest and support for this idea, everyone.
We understand the complexities surrounding calculating holiday pay for employees in the UK, and acknowledge the need to provide a solution which considers their previous 52 weeks of earnings. We're pleased to share that this is something our product team have started looking.
Your feedback and ideas are valued and important to us, and we'd like to reach out and see if you'd like to be involved in prototype testing.
This'll involve using a prototype tool to assess the usability of a proposed solution to calculating Holiday Pay in Xero. We encourage users that feel strongly about this area of payroll to sign up and welcome users of all experience levels - You can sign up through our form here.
Given the popularity of this idea there's a chance spaces could fill up quick. We'll close the form…

Hi everyone, leading on from my last update we have now released improvements to eInvoicing for those in the UK! With the latest change you'll now find we've made it easier for you to opt-in to receive your Xero subscription bill via eInvoicing. You can now do this from your online invoice (My Bills page) instead of through the Billing contact page. Helping save you time and reduce manual data entry every month.😁
We understand there are other regions that'd still like to see this functionality developed and we'll shift back to submitted and share when there is news of moving this further afield.
We also wanted to address the recent comment of data sharing - We'd like to confirm that Xero do not share data with Peppol.com. We use the Peppol network and the subscription invoices are sent using our wholly owned provider, Tickstar. An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for sharing the Xero Central link, Andy.
@Benjamin, the section on 'Receive your Xero subscription invoices via eInvoicing' has the step by step that should help you set this up 😊

Hi team, to export a list of all Tracking categories in your org, you may find the Tracking Summary report of use to you here. Alternatively, you could run the Account Transactions report and Summarise by the Tracking category.
The one caveat here for both reports is that they'll only show a list of the tracking options that have been used within the date range the report is run.
An error occurred while saving the comment @Timea, an organisation is intended for a single business so right now your client would need an organisation for each entity.
We have a similar idea for this sort of functionality that I've linked below and you might be interested in adding your support for, too. 🙂

Thanks for the detail in your idea here, Paul. I had a bit of a test of this myself and have checked in with our reporting team.
It doesn't quite appear in the modal once the report's run - this is something that we'll look to improve.
However, it's possible to enter multiple terms which will each be searched and return results for (like OR as an operator) - All you need to do is enter a comma(,) and space between each condition.
For example A0, L0 or A0, A1, A2, 🙂
An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for the feedback, Paul- Yes, this is what was meant when saying it doesn't appear in the modal.
You're totally right on the way you go about clearing the selection completely - You'll need to remove the filter than re-add.
Our team have it on the backlog to improve how this is working. I want to be open this could be some way off, as they have a few things road mapped atm getting out all the functionality from the older to newer version of reports. -

Hi Donald, I've updated the title of your idea to make this simpler for others that are interested to find.
Though we don't have a report that'll show the payment method atm, you could run the Receivable or Payable Invoice Detail reports to view much of this information.
Once you've customised the report as you like, you can save as Custom to easily access that view anytime.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Naomi, is there a reason you'd rather see it in the Invoice & Bill screens rather than a report?

I see what you mean, and while this isn't something we have direct plans for right now, we'll start to track the interest here 🙂 -

An error occurred while saving the comment Oh, wait I see you've started one for auto send of receipts here(https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198/suggestions/45398173) and I'll update the title of your idea here 🙂
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Denise, it looks like you may have 2 separate ideas represented here? - 1 in the title and a different one in the detail
If so, you're welcome to start one for each so we can track them separately here and get for support in each.
For now to bulk edit, you may find our article in Xero Central useful - https://central.xero.com/s/article/Update-or-edit-multiple-contacts

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Andrew, just to check would this be in the Bank Accounts > Accounts Transactions page, or the Account Transactions report?

Hi Sandra, could you provide a bit more detail of the idea you have here? Would this be for the ability to automatically reconcile transfer transactions from one bank account to another?

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for your idea, Gayo. We try to keep one idea per thread so others understand what they're adding their support to and help feedback internally to our teams.
Welcome to start a second idea for the ability to view last date a statement was sent to a customer in the Aged reports, then we can get a sense of the interest in that too. 🙂

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Nicola, sounds like you'd find this useful at a practice level?
We have an idea for client notes (https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198/suggestions/44961118) or another when in a Xero organisation(https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198/suggestions/44988703). Let me know your preference here, and I can merge to the most relevant. Welcome to support both though 🙂 -

Hi everyone, returning to the idea here. For UK Payroll, pension fillings can be exported in CSV format and manually updated to be compatible with the different pension providers. We don't have plans for creating other specific file formats in the near term.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Gail, is there particular data or detail that you're looking to include in a payroll report?
While it's unlikely we'll surface every detail in payroll through reports, having a better idea of your needs there maybe something we can suggest that's already in Xero. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Alex, you can save yourself a step there by clicking straight on the file from the view you've shared.
Doing this will open the file so you don't need to go through effort to download each time you'd like to check an attached file 🙂 -

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for the confirmation, Sonya!
There's no direct change for this planned right now, but I'll make sure your idea gets back to the right team and we'll keep an eye on the support here 🙂An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Sonja, I noticed you've put this in the Practice Manager topic, and wanted to confirm the page in Xero you're looking to see this change in.
Would it be when adding a bank account to a Xero organisation? Thanks!

Thanks for confirming, Andy - Really appreciate the screenshot. 🙂
I've checked in with our Payroll team where this detail is saved.
We appreciate wanting more options for gender when entering personal details, and in some regions such as AU & NZ this is optional.
Currently, in order to ensure successful payroll filings with HMRC in the UK, we need to match the schema they provide. That said, our team are reassessing how this fits in Xero so I'll shift this Idea to 'under review' and can share any updates that come.An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for your idea, Andy.
To make sure it gets back to the right place in product can I check which area of Xero you're looking for this in? For example - would this be when setting up employees in payroll?
Apologies about the Calendly invite link issues, everyone. We've just updated this in my post and you should now be able to find dates in June to book in. Thanks, and we appreciate your interest in feeding back to the team! 🙂
