  1. Ability to have one contact record link to multiple client records like a true CRM system would.

    Example: bookkeeper for a client is stored as a contact and may act for many other clients. Currently relationships only exist between 'clients'.

  2. We desperately need an audit trail report available for advisors.

    I think it would be sufficient to have the below added to the account transactions report style (but named as Audit Trail):
    1 - the ability to include an 'edited date' column
    2 - the ability to include a 'notes' column
    3 - a tick box to show/hide audit trail history (so voids would show as separate creation and void lines netting off, not just removal of the original transaction)
    4 - a unique un-editable transaction identifier for all transactions, not just bills/invoices

    It must be exportable to excel with…

  5. We have a number of clients who have a preferred Name other than their legal name. Whilst we can only put in their legal name (for the preparation of their returns) it would help our staff and the rest of the team to be able to put in their 'PREFERRED NAME' so that it showed up in the main contact area in XPM so that they would know to call the client by their preferred name rather than their legal name. A lot of clients get upset if you dont call them by their preferred name.

  6. To be able to duplicate a contact, therefore not having to retype in the address, phone number and all other details. You would just need to rename the client and change the IRD number etc before saving. This would be a huge time saver.

  7. I would love to see an improvement with Xero XPM NOTES.

    We seem to leave 2 types of notes.

    TYPE 1: is URGENT, we want people within the firm to see it and read it. It would be good if you could select this note to be a banner across the top of the clients screen. Similar to how if the client has a debt it shows at the top. (love that function)

    TYPE 2: is just an ordinary note that is sufficient with the current design.

    It would also be great if you could share notes across multiple clients…

  8. Just a simple one!

    Next to the date of birth in Xero PM, could you do a little thingy so the age calculates and shows there?
    I've done my best Canva work in the attached to explain better!
    And chose my most favourite clients as an example :)

  9. The current sync of "clients" from XPM to "contacts" of the practice Xero Blue file only updates when an invoice is sent across.

    Surely this could be made into an immediate sync, or at the very least an overnight sync?

    Given XPM doesn't integrate with a whole lot of software and doesn't integrate with Zapier, many add-ons practices use are linked with the Xero Blue file and require that data to be accurate. Debtor collection software for example, marketing software, etc, all require contact details to be accurate, and if clients change details, there can be a large delay before…

  10. It would be fantastic if we could add another Relationship type in XPM, namely 'Unitholder' so we could link the unitholders and their holdings with the Unit Trust.

  11. The date ranges in Lead reports do not work. Run a report from “on or after the beginning of last month” to “on or before the end of the month” or run a report from 1 March to 31 March - the leads raised on the last day of the month or 31 March do not show on the report.

    Try it! It's very frustrating. Surely this can be fixed.

  13. To make it easier to create jobs in XPM it would be useful to have a link to create a new job once you have unsuccessfully searched to see if there is a job already set up for the client. At present you have to log out of job search then create a new job, which involves finding the client name again.

  15. Invoices raised in XPM have a Category field but Miscellaneous invoices do not. This creates two main issues:
    - Miscellaneous invoices are not included in XPM invoice reports against a Category
    - Miscellaneous invoices are "unallocated" when they sync across to Blue Xero. At that point, they need to be manually amended for reporting purposes. Can the "Category" field be added please?

  16. Suggestion to have the ability to enter 'Ad Hoc' time in the same place you enter time for jobs - i.e. in the Timesheets screen, rather than going through the 'Global Search' screen.

    You would select a client first, then select Ad Hoc Time or a job (if an active one exists).

    Also, when selecting a client, it would also be handy to be able to start typing a few letters from anywhere within the client name, rather than having to type the first letter or scroll down using the picklist.

  18. Recurring jobs allow for staff allocation. When you need to amend these reallocations they have to be done one by one. We would like to be able to make these bulk as they can be in live Jobs.

  19. Removal of 'completed' jobs from the job list when preparing an invoice in XPM.

    Sometimes we invoice a parent client with multiple entities jobs appearing and this can be very hard to navigate when looking for current jobs to invoice - even if the status is marked to be invoiced. It would be more efficient if completed jobs just didn't appear in the list.
