Prepayments & Accrual Schedules
Instead of using spreadsheets, it would be very handy for Xero to have prepayment & accruals schedules built-in that act similar to the Fixed Asset function.
For example, when you allocated a new invoice to the prepayment nominal, Xero would detect that transaction and add it to the schedule. At the end of the month, you access the Prepayment & Accruals screen, go to drafts, and fill out a form giving it the period with su[plier, start date, end date and number of days/weeks/months it lasts (this would determine how often a journal is created when ran). Option to connect HQ client record to Xero subscription upon receiving subscription transfer request
Upon accepting a subscription transfer request, it would be great to have an option to "link to existing client record" or "create a new client record". There's currently no option for this and this creates double-up entries in Xero HQ which need to be manually removed, re-linked and archived.

New Client Insights needs more filtering capability
The new Client Insights section, I clicked in today from the newsletter, would be good to be able to filter by Client Partner/Manager as we can currently see all clients in the practice with no ability to filter.

Direct Debit Aged Payables
1) In financial details of suppliers - to be able to input whether they are paid by Direct Debit and a date if applicable or Bank Transfer etc.
2) Aged Payables report separating out direct debits from manual bank payments.
This would be so handy to be able to provide clients with a list of expected direct debit outgoings and a separate list of manual payments requiring payment.

The new Xero implementations - becoming very frustrated!
I am finding the inconsistent implementation of the new Xero style mixed in with the old incredibly frustrating. The new style screens are slow to load & enter data, the tabbing and typing a few letters then hitting return either doesn't work (add payment) or is inconsistent between screens, entering a new customer on the fly is frustrating because you can't enter all the information at once & still have to open the full contact edit screen to complete it, also the new contact pop up doesn't autopopulate addresses as you type, the send remittance button disappears if you get…

Xero HQ - Allow users to see all clients and request access as needed
It would be great if ALL users (ie practice staff) in Xero HQ could see all Xero files. It should be obvious on the list which are accessible and which are not (ie if you didn't have access, the Xero org name could be greyed out)
In terms of access, if a particular staff member did not have access to a Xero file, they should be able to request access from a HQ Administrator (with mange user access of course) which can be granted easily. Would be handy to have a 'Why' comment field so the approver knows the context…

XeroHQ | AU Payroll - Report or View STP Unfiled Pay runs
It would be good to be able to run a report of all Xero clients that have unfiled STP, or be able to view at a glance on XeroHQ. This would assist in making sure clients are meeting their compliance obligations quickly rather than go into every client to look at the Payroll Overview.

Settings - Reducing the size of text/fonts on the screen
Could xero consider reducing the size of text/fonts on the screen. I don't need super extra large enormous text to do my work. Everyone walking past or coming to speak with me can read my screen and see bank details and values, employee names and $ amount and so the list goes on. I have already asked if there can be a bland landing page so that bank accounts (Including balances) are NOT the default screen. Anyone standing nearby can see this information when Xero starts. Can we get the allocate expense to customer added as a feature on bank rules and cash coding to simpify and speed up the process for allocating customer expenses for recharging.

CONSISTENCY in the default naming convention for DATES in Xero
I know this is not critical for the reporting accuracy of Xero within, but it would be a great help to those who extract many times a report from Xero and have multiple clients handling. I hope Xero Support can find ways to be consistent in their naming convention by default. And not overriding names thru Report layouts. Thanks!

bank rules
In the Bank Rules it would be very helpful to have a tick box that allows the full original description from the transaction in the bank, to be allocated when you reconcile the transaction.
Much like the Set Reference as 'reference/description/etc' option but specifically to include the original transactions detail.E.g. Bank rule & contact would be: 'Pharmacy'
- but the original description in is a transaction from 'Boots £3.50' or 'Superdrug £14.00' so when you apply the bank rule and you check the transaction in 'Account transactions' under the specific nominal (e.g. personal care), the description would say the…4 votes -

Add invoice from Xero business edition to document pack
Ability to export an invoice created in Xero business edition to a document pack.
For example, if I prepare a BAS or tax return for a client and send it to them in a document pack along with my invoice, I have to export the invoice from Xero and save it, and then add it to the document pack.
It would be beneficial if there was an option in the invoice screen to add the invoice to a document pack, similar to adding a completed tax return from Xero Tax to a document pack.

Report Templates - Default client advisor reports to alphabetical order in Xero HQ
Xero HQ report templates overwrite the order of accounts to alphabetical when accessed at a client. The report templates are in the correct part of the financial statement for the client, but then it defaults to alphabetical order. This requires you to change the order for each client, even though it was done at the HQ level.

Practice Permissions | Manage Users - Enable practice to remove access to client org
Practice Admin have the ability to remove themselves if they have been invite into a potential clients org without manage users.
Potential clients that decide to not go ahead with a Practice but done remove the PA from the org, PA should have the ability to remove themselves.

adding existing customised report into report template
I would like to suggest to enable the function of duplicates on customised draft reports within
a particular Company and allow such reports to be made available/ export to the Report Templates at Xero HQ. This is simply to made easy of re-inventing / re-modify the entire skeleton of the reporting contents. change colour scheme on email receipt
Can we have the control to change the color scheme/add logos etc to the email receipt clients get when they have paid an invoice by clicking on the email and paying through stripe/PayPal et. Currently it is very unbranded and not in our corporate colors. Thank you

password on lock date
Can we get an option to add a password when setting the lock date so that once set you can only change it if you have the password. It would then stop clients changing it after the accounts have been submitted.
