e-invoicing - LHDN Malaysia
Starting from July 2024 Malaysia government implement e-invoicing. It would be grateful if Xero could integrate with LHDN. It will save lots of hustle and time to upload the invoices into the portal. Hope this can be done before the implementation begins.

We'll be launching e-invoicing features progressively in the upcoming months, and we'll be compliant with the government’s e-invoicing initiative by 1 January 2025. New Client Insights needs more filtering capability
The new Client Insights section, I clicked in today from the newsletter, would be good to be able to filter by Client Partner/Manager as we can currently see all clients in the practice with no ability to filter.

The new Xero implementations - becoming very frustrated!
I am finding the inconsistent implementation of the new Xero style mixed in with the old incredibly frustrating. The new style screens are slow to load & enter data, the tabbing and typing a few letters then hitting return either doesn't work (add payment) or is inconsistent between screens, entering a new customer on the fly is frustrating because you can't enter all the information at once & still have to open the full contact edit screen to complete it, also the new contact pop up doesn't autopopulate addresses as you type, the send remittance button disappears if you get…

Xero HQ - Allow users to see all clients and request access as needed
It would be great if ALL users (ie practice staff) in Xero HQ could see all Xero files. It should be obvious on the list which are accessible and which are not (ie if you didn't have access, the Xero org name could be greyed out)
In terms of access, if a particular staff member did not have access to a Xero file, they should be able to request access from a HQ Administrator (with mange user access of course) which can be granted easily. Would be handy to have a 'Why' comment field so the approver knows the context…

Changes in Employee Superfund ABN, USI number etc
AU - Compulsory Employee Super When a Employee Superfund changes ABN, USI number, merges with another fund.
The only solution at moment is to export the employee data into a file and save it. Then deactivate the Superfund. The problem is if you have a query on these past transactions you cannot do it through Xero. If you a subjected to an audit you cannot generate report for the data prior to the date of the changes made to the super fund. If you have been through an audit this creates a lot of work. Settings - Reducing the size of text/fonts on the screen
Could xero consider reducing the size of text/fonts on the screen. I don't need super extra large enormous text to do my work. Everyone walking past or coming to speak with me can read my screen and see bank details and values, employee names and $ amount and so the list goes on. I have already asked if there can be a bland landing page so that bank accounts (Including balances) are NOT the default screen. Anyone standing nearby can see this information when Xero starts. Both of matters limit confidentiality and most users don't need this sort of exaggerated…

CONSISTENCY in the default naming convention for DATES in Xero
I know this is not critical for the reporting accuracy of Xero within, but it would be a great help to those who extract many times a report from Xero and have multiple clients handling. I hope Xero Support can find ways to be consistent in their naming convention by default. And not overriding names thru Report layouts. Thanks!

Report Templates - Default client advisor reports to alphabetical order in Xero HQ
Xero HQ report templates overwrite the order of accounts to alphabetical when accessed at a client. The report templates are in the correct part of the financial statement for the client, but then it defaults to alphabetical order. This requires you to change the order for each client, even though it was done at the HQ level.

Practice Permissions | Manage Users - Enable practice to remove access to client org
Practice Admin have the ability to remove themselves if they have been invite into a potential clients org without manage users.
Potential clients that decide to not go ahead with a Practice but done remove the PA from the org, PA should have the ability to remove themselves.

Xero HQ Insights - P&L Data & Selection options
Hi,
For the Profit and Loss data (Revenue/ Expense/ Net Profit), should be an option to select last month as currently it's bringing up mid month data and comparing with full month information (ie. running the report 20th October and comparing with either full month Sep 2024 or full month October 2024. A lot of clients invoice end of month or after month end so adds little comparison value.
For Cash Balances, ability to select which bank accounts are displayed might be worth considering. Currently showing loans, which skews the information into negative.

Documents Date vs Posting Date
Features to allow user to enter both "Documents Date" and "Posting Date" when we record for any single transaction instead only one column of "Date".
For example, the invoice date could be 30 of Jun 2024 but as we receive this invoice later, on 10 of Jul. With this, I cannot book this invoice in Jun ledgers, because the month had closed. So, I have to book (post) the invoice in Jul ledgers, on 10th.

Bank feeds - Retain the payment link for Kiwibank & ASB
Xero have announced that they are removing the ability to automatically send batch files across to Kiwibank & ASB on 16th November, in order to "focus our efforts to support areas of Xero that provide the most value for customers."
Speaking on behalf of my clients who actively use this feature, it's of huge value to them. It automates a process that otherwise involves manually downloading a file, logging into internet banking and uploading that file. It's even better for users who don't have internet banking access, but need to set up payment batches on behalf of those that do…

Practice Manager | Clients - Add columns
Allow users to add columns for Partner, Manager, Client Group, Xero file type and subscription owner.
We have staff that work for a particular Partner's clients. It would be great to be able to filter the client list by all of the above information so that they can be easily identified for updating new staff permissions.12 votes -

Bank connections page allowing you to view all clients' bank feed statuses in one central location and easily update the connections for your clients in one go rather than navigating to each client’s account.

Partner status - Client detail in points section
Partner Status - recently we handed over some Xero subscriptions to our clients to pay directly. Instead of gaining extra points for our Xero status, our points have gone down. I'd like to be able to see under each partner points section a dropdown menu of the client names and points per client. This will also help me keep on top of our Xero recharges in case a client moves from one tier to another.

Fetching bank statements and checks
I’d like to suggest enabling the ability to fetch bank statements and check images directly, especially since Xero already offers a bank feed feature.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) includes this functionality, where statements and checks are automatically retrieved and saved in the file section. It would be helpful to have a similar feature in Xero.

More Check Printing Options
Have the option to print checks by First Name, Last Name or the other way around rather than according to how contacts are put in. For the contact list, people like LName, FName. For check printing, people prefer FName, LName. I know you can go in and manually override it, but it would be nice to have an automatic selection of how you prefer it.
