Report Templates - Tier 3 Report update
Very disappointed to hear that you haven't considered how the new reporting standards for Tier 3 entities is going to effect the reporting templates i.e. the requirement to split grants into multiple sub-categories, which is only one area of the new reporting standards that needs to be expanded.
Would you be able to make this a high priority for the product team and provide a reasonable timeframe as to when this will be considered for further development as obviously we need to meet our obligations and your reporting mapping is no longer going to make this easy for us given the number of clients that we have on Tier 3 reporting and your solution being that we will need to reformat every report for every individual client that requires this reporting.
As you know accountants bill upon time spent and for us to need to re-map every client's chart individually and for any new codes every time it not time our clients should need to be paying for when this is a new standard.

I don't understand why this hasn't already been done, please can you elaborate. Are you confirming that Xero, a global software provider with a lot of clients in NZ demographics haven't updated this as part of the new charity standards?
Wasn't this available at least 12 months ago to be considered as part of the changes, given these new standards are live from April 2025 when are Xero going to make these able to be templated?
Please can you provide a date as i would have thought any changes to standards would have impacted reports and backend report codes so we can streamline this for our clients.
We would have thought this would be a simple change to add in new reporting codes and slot these into the assigned areas, not have to muck around at a client level.
