    Hi community, we're excited to share that the ability to add notes to all line items will be soon available to all in new Xero Workpapers! We're starting the rollout to our Australian partners, and will go wider to other regions in early 2026. Thanks again for your feedback and we'll round back to confirm when live to all Partners.

    In Analytical review - having a "Note" out the side of the code would be great, so you an note something has been looked at and the reviewer can see easily it has been done

    I'm excited to share a major update that addresses this feedback directly. At Xerocon in September 2025, we announced a new strategic partnership with BGL, a leader in compliance and practice software. Together, we are building a new, deeply integrated Workpapers solution that will be embedded directly within Xero Practice Manager (XPM) and Xero Tax. This new solution is central to our compliance and practice tools roadmap and is designed to provide a seamless experience, leveraging BGL’s expertise in document management. We are pleased to confirm that the ability to add, rename, and reorder supporting documents is a key feature of this new BGL-powered Workpapers solution. This functionality is already available in BGL’s core product, which forms the foundation of our new offering.
