Whilst there is a option to attach a PDF of the actual invoice to the e-invoice, this feature should absolutely be mandatory. Without a substantive invoice, your records are not ATO compliant, e-invoiced or not. I have trialled e-invoicing with a few clients since its initial release and in nearly all cases I was left to chase up the suppliers for actual tax invoices. In its current form it is a complete waste of time
