    Aaah wait, apologies Christine - I see you're referring to adding a % on to a line item rather than discounting by a %.

    There is no way to do this at present - we have a somewhat similar idea for adding freight charges across here. 

    Instead, you could add these type of items as additional line items in the invoice, and use Xero's inbuilt calculator to determine what the % of the invoice total would be. 

    Amounts are field will help you control where the tax is applied.

    I have a client that adds a % to the total of the invoice as a Levy - please advise if this feature has been added as yet.
