    Hi Geoffery, thanks for sharing this! We can see how a smoother experience on slower connections would make working in Xero more seamless, especially when you’re remote or have limited internet.

    Right now, using the Xero mobile app for lighter tasks or clearing your browser cache can help speed things up, but we know a dedicated low-bandwidth mode would make day-to-day work even easier.

    I’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so we can track interest and show our product teams how much of a difference this would make.

    Yeah, no. The mobile app is missing many features of the main site, and sure graphs are pretty but 271 website resources at 50mb due to the update that was pushed is obviously not optimised code or resources.
    Clearing the cache will force a full re-download of all those resources which will NOT speed anything up.
    Please raise your bandwidth use as a critical product oversight with your coding team.

    Hi everyone, another update as we lean into the end of year I'm happy to let you know that this feature has now moved into a beta with a small group of users.
