I have used the software from 2 other major players that have this function. Xero is a far better product. If it had the ability to categorise/group services and products will make it much easier to and quicker to prepare quotes for jobs, or sub-contract invoicing to contractors for item that are similar in nature. Xero’s “Projects’ would also benefit from this functionality. It would be more economically efficient than having to rely on additional subscriptions to 3rd party ‘addon’ software for this one simple timesaving feature.
