We also would like to see this feature where "read-only" and "managed clients" user roles can renew bank connection ie refresh feeds. Xero support suggested to temporarily upgrade the client user role just to refresh the feed but this is against our practice policy as it also allows access to editing bank transactions, a potential AML risk. At the moment we have disabled bank feeds and relied on importing statements but we rather have the client the ability to refresh feeds on their limited user roles.
