And these people are supposed to be helping are business, there is no one to contact over this and the only option is to email the invoice to myself and then forward it to the customer. Xero are a joke company.

Totally agree, won’t be using new invoicing until this is sorted.

Just email yourself the invoice and then send it out from your own email account, this is a big pane in the but it works and the only solution. There is no one to talk to at Xero it ir run on the cheap by bots and they are making a killing.
