Hi there, thanks for the suggestion!

You're right that the current 'Total Cash In and Out' widget is fixed to a 6-month view.

While you can see longer periods by running a Cash Summary report, I understand that having that 12 or 18-month trend visible immediately on your dashboard would be much more powerful for spotting seasonal patterns.

I’ve classified this as 'Gaining Support' to see how many others would like more flexibility with this widget's timeframe

There is the option to pick a few set time periods but for me none are particularly useful, unless I look only at times of the month when (a) everything is completely reconciled - eg at the beginning of a calendar month it is unlikely that all the banc rec has been complete for the previous month AND (b) when Invoicing and Payroll have both been closed off (eg I invoice by calendar month and payroll by calendar month, but with a 2 weeks time lag - for cashflow management... so there are times of the month when most invoices have been paid (and reconciled) but payroll has not happened yet for the latest calendar month.)
So I'd like to be able to select a customer time range - eg for the 12 months ending at the end of LAST month or even the month before that...
