Hi there
While we don’t create an exact replica of the form we’ve worked closely with our compliance team to make sure that if you are audited we can supply the information needed. We also cater for the event of W-9 information being overridden and needing W-9’s from previous years.
In terms of getting the information for an audit - while we don’t offer a self service option at the moment - if you need it you can submit a request to our support team and we’ll provide what you need for an audit 😊

I'm encountering this issue today 2 years after this was initially submitted. The IRS requires businesses have the actual signed W-9s on file. It is not enough to simply have a filled out profile in Xero. That would be like saying that an email thread where someone disclosed all their tax information was sufficient in lieu of a signed W-9. Until this feature is changed, I will be collecting W-9s the old fashioned way. Shame, because this feature initially seemed useful! Please consider changing it. I know of other platforms that will generate an actual tax document, so it can certainly be done!
