    Same boat here except id use if for a different purpose. Most of my customers require their Purchase Order number to be in the reference field on the invoices. I need a secondary project reference field so i can write a machine code on it. I have lists of invoices to customers, and all i can see is the invoice number and their PO number. I am constantly looking through each invoice to find a specific previous repair or similar.
