Thank community, we appreciate all your involvement on this idea. We understand the ability to bulk export or print attached files would be a huge time-saver, especially for year-end audits, client communication, and general record-keeping.
We’ve evaluated the complexity of this feature against other priorities on our roadmap. Atm, this isn't in our plans however we'd like to explore bulk downloading of files from Xero in the longer term. I'll share an update when we're able to give more attention to this, here.
For the meantime if this is essential for you right now, you may like to explore third-party integrations through our Xero app store which could meet your needs here.

It’s great to see ideas around attachment previews, especially how support for .eml and .msg files could make audit workflows smoother.
This idea is now open for the community to vote on and discuss. Adding a few details about how it would fit into your workflow can help others understand why it matters and give the product team extra context.

Sorry Robert accidental post on the wrong idea! As per Malcolm's suggestion you can use the Xero network to send invoices from one company to another to create as a bill in the other. We don't have any plans to extend the Xero network to journals but for now we'll get a sense of interest from the wider community.

Can I ask why you wouldn't use Bills & Invoices for this? you can then email it straight to the other company's xero inbox to get a lot of the outcomes your looking for
ideally with the ability to download all files.
I am finding clients do not want to file documents this way due to the risk that if they ever wanted to leave Xero they would have to download the files one by one.
