I agree with the previous users. This is a critical issue for invoicing compliance and auditability. An automatic feature to update the invoice issue date to the current date when you finalize a draft helps avoid the user overseeing this. It hapened to me twice and the tax advisor was not amused. It would be good if Xero treats this like a bug that needs correction.
