    Hi Brian, appreciate it's not a direct filter option like you're asking here however if you often need to filter by say country or another aspect of your Contact perhaps you may consider creating Contact groups? This way you'd be able to click on the group within contacts when you need.

    Being open we don't have any direct plans for adding more filtering to the Contact list atm, but we'll continue to track your idea here and share if there are any plans made.

    Like the original poster, I too feel the need for a filter when viewing contacts.
    I started using XERO as my bank TIDE gave me access, bringing nearly 200 contacts into XERO.
    When viewing and sorting them into different groups, I am left with a number to identify. If I could simply display all those contacts who have NOT been put into a GROUP, it would be so easy to use. A check box for display of any or all would make life so easy.
    EG, Select all then go down and uncheck those I need to identify, et voilá.
    OR Just an identifier of which group each contact was in, maybe groups could be COLOURED the contact, again, spotting the contact not in a group would be easier.
    Effectively, it's a reverse group filter which is needed.
