  1. Find & Match: Pagination is not working properly when moving to "next" page of bills.

    For example, when you scroll to the bottom of "Page 1" and then select "next" or "page 2" for example. The cursor remains at the bottom of the page.
    It should move to the top of the page.

    Once you scroll to #50, #51 is the next logical bill to view, however it goes from #50 to #100 in the view, the user needs to scroll to the top of the page to view the next bill in sequence.

    A small bug, but very annoying…

In the "New version of Invoicing" disappeared an amazing function - when you open an invoice after it has been approved, it always displays as tax exclusive, even if you entered it as tax inclusive. In the new version if you approved an invoice tax inclusive it ONLY shows it as tax inclusive. Can you please add the feature of seeing both versions of the same invoice.
    And another feature that disappeared in the new version is to see account number, not just the name of the account. Can you add it back too? And move it back to the…

  4. Due to the fact that "Updated inventory selling price is reflected when the next repeated invoice is generated." (Please vote for this idea too) has not been implemented. You need to manually go into every repeating invoice and reselect the (same) inventory item for the price to update to the current inventory price. I think it is a bug, but support tell me it is the designed way. The existing QTY gets reset to 1. This is super annoying as you need to remember was the existing QTY was and then update it again and not make mistakes. If you…

  5. When you update the inventory selling price of an item you expect that this is reflected when a repeated invoice is generated. This is not currently the case. The price is ONLY updated when you edit the repeated invoice. Please have an option box on the repeated invoice that allows inventory price updates on generation. Currently waste hours and hours and make mistakes every time an inventory item changes price. Logged support cases about this for years but trying here now. Huge time saver.

  6. I want more decimal places on the Line Amount and Invoice Total to display as follow:
    1.7568 x 25.12 = 44.1309

    I can get it to show 44.1300 but I want to set it up to show 44.1309

  9. New Invoicing - I need to print invoices regularly for counter sale customers. Using new invoicing it used to open a new chrome tab when you clicked Print PDF from there you could print or download the invoice easy.

    In a recent update (See link https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198-for-small-businesses/suggestions/47646932-new-invoicing-print-pdf-option) the Print button now only allows you to Download invoices.

    Please revert to the old system where printing or downloading took the same number of clicks

    or

    • Change the current Print PDF button to read "Download PDF"
    • Add a new "Print PDF" Button that actually prints the invoice.

  10. Bank Reconciliation - The colour used for Xero AI Matching for the fund received

    Facts: Xero AI tool tries to match the funds received with the related invoices to ease the user's reconciliation. The matching set in green

    Issue: The green colour used has confused some users who think green is correct suggestion so they click OK button to reconcile the transaction, but it's not always right. This issue has made the AR Details report is incorrect

The ‘fresh new look’ you have decided to give invoice emails is garish and on the verge of being offensive/pushy - WE ARE NOT A FAN! - and we have been told that this cannot be adjusted!!!!!!!!!!! - REALLY!!!!!!???? - not impressed!!!!! - give the option to amend this or put it back to as it was, please!!!

  13. After sending out an Invoice and it has been paid, it would be useful if that invoice could have an additional status, indicating (1) that the goods have been "despatched", then (2) later as "delivered"

    Similarly, on a Bill, After the bill has been paid, it ships, and it would be useful if the bill could be marked as (1) shipped then (2) later as "received".

    And in both cases, there is an associated shipping document, such as Air Waybill Number and associated shipping agency. The AWB can be further enhanced to provide a link to the tracking service provided…

  14. At the moment Xero doesn't seem to have a provision wherein only active items can be downloaded from the Inventory List. I think this is an important and effective feature that needs to be implemented.

  16. Currently if an invoice is sent to GoCardless for DD collection, and it exceeds the transaction value set by GoGardless, the DD isn't collected, but no error message is sent by either Xero or GoCardless.

    Need to improve visibility of errors in Xero, so alternative collection arrangements can be made.

  17. Our financials include a report on the profitability of projects closed during the month. Because the system writes the date of closure from the actual live date that the user marks the project as closed, the user needs to make sure that each project is marked as closed immediately on the date of completion. E.g. If a project is completed in the last week of the month the user must ensure that the closure field is ticked during that week and not wait until the following week.

  19. I think a very useful feature is Notes at the bottom of a bill or invoice, however it is not quite practical if we have to click history to see any notes added to a particular bill.

    A better place would be right below the description box so any notes added would be clearly visible to anyone who opens the bill. Also, if a note is added to a bill, there should be an icon for it - similar to the files icon.

  20. To create a credit note from an invoice without applying it to the invoice.
    Currently the only option is ‘create and apply credit’.
    We refund first then generate the credit note. So we need to allocate the invoice to the customer receipt, then allocate the repayment to the credit note.

    Generally this is a time saving mechanism, not having to then apply the credit to the invoice. Appreciate the detail of your workflow Susan, as definitely makes sense in what you're trying to do here. 

    We'll start to get a feel for the interest around this here, and in the meantime - Not sure if it still suits your flow however if viewing invoices from the Awaiting Payments list, if you don't need to open the invoice, you could use the 'New Credit Note' option from here.
