Many of my clients are partnerships and trade using the partners initials e.g. J & J Doe but on their reports it displays as %26 and on emails that they are sending with sales invoices, it displays as "& amp;" meaning that when I save reports or they send their invoices, this has to be changed. Having worked in a software house previously, I know that this is a programming issue and one that should have a relatively simple fix so can you please look at this.

  2. I just started using this program and the ability to close the left-hand menus is needed, at minimum the ability to adjust the column width.

    When the "Folders" and "Docs" menus are both open constantly with no way of adjusting them, I lose almost 1/2 the screen.

    The webpage is basically broken up into 4 columns, yet there is no way to adjust any of them for a better user experience or easy viewing of documents. Currently it is impossible to view all of the information needed for individual docs without moving the document around a bunch. It's a very…

  4. It is remarkably convoluted to change the base currency even when no transactions have been posted. It only seems to be possible by cancelling the subscription and starting again. I rely on clients purchasing the software and it is not unknown for them to enter an incorrect base currency. I have used other systems where changing the base currency is very quick and easy. I suggest you make this a little easier.

  6. We need the ability to further customise User Permissions. For example, a company could have 3 bank accounts and one credit card, all of which need reconciling, but I want two employees to share responsibility. So, employee A can do two bank accounts, and Employee B can do 1 bank account, and one credit card, and each can only see what they are responsible for. Secondly, we should be able to set up a Finance Manager who has certain permissions again separate from all other options.   7. Hi, It would be great to see customers who exceeded their credit limits on the dashboard. We push sales invoices from third-party app therefore we don't see alerts if someone has no credit limit left. If we could see a list on the dashboard we could act immediately. Thanks

  8. Can you allow both a BAS agent and Tax agent (and the staff of each) to both have "Advisor" access to a ledger file.

    As only the subscription holder and their staff can have this currently it limits the functionality of the other practice who also have legitimate need for reporting etc.

  9. When closing a UK PAYE scheme in Xero Payroll, I struggled to locate the option to end a PAYE Scheme within the system but found guidance in Xero help resources.
    I suggest moving the "scheme cease date" box to the "HMRC" Xero Payroll Settings tab for better visibility and less confusion.
    Your step-by-step explanation was helpful, but some adjustments could enhance user experience.

    Thanks for your feedback as well as sharing screenshots to show the differences and what would help you when using new invoicing.

    Taking a look across these, the first around using a draft invoice as a template with only text in the description - this is currently possible, but may depend on how you are entering the information in your invoices.   11. When an expense is raised, supplier gst tax rate should override the expense item tax rate. If the supplier coded gst free purchases, then expense items should default to gst free, not the default gst tax code of the expense ite.

  13. As a charity funded entirely by donation we receive the majority of funds via online bank receipts. Because the bank receipt is standard, I currently manually create a receipt for our donors in word which I can attach to the bank receipt transaction and email to the donor. This is very time-consuming and I think it would be a very easy fix to allow customisation as with invoices

  14. I think it would be great to have a screen to manage notifications settings.
    This could present a long list of notifications for different things (e.g. for me the important ones are activity statement due soon, STP filing overdue).
    For each item, the user could select if they want it active, how they want to be notified (e.g. header line, or in a widget), and whether to be emailed (very helpful for people like me who only log in once or twice a week and do a days work).

  15. A Xero user with invoice-only access can currently only access files in the file library when creating an invoice. We need this feature to also be available when the same user creates a quote. There is no added risk since the user already has access to the files when creating an invoice. Standard files needs to be sent to clients with their quote and this now needs to be stored on a drive instead of the file library.

  16. completing a cert IV in accounting and bookkeeping you have to become a user for approximately 10 different companies. Therefore once you have finished your course they sit in your My Xero, the only way to remove yourself as a user it to do each one, can you have an option to remove yourself as a user for multiple companies in one step.

I would like to be able to send a bank/xero link to connect the AMEX credit card feeds or other banks that enable linking via internet banking, rather than having to add the client as a user in Xero first to be able to connect bank feeds via a link. This seems to complicate the signing of completed financials and tax returns sent from xero to the client for signature. It asks them to login (when their email is connected with a Xero account just so they could link internet banking) and many clients are finding it frustrating.
