  1. I would like to request that the parameters around the business snapshot ratio's (specifically current ratio) exclude long term loans that are connected to a bank feed.

    Currently if a long term loan is connected to a bank feed it must be allocated as "Bank" this then over rides any account type or account mapping settings otherwise designating the account as a long term liability in regard to ratio's. Xero simply assumes if it is "bank" it must be an overdraft or credit card and therefore is a current liability. This deems any ratio's within the business snapshot relying on…

  2. Batch print packing slip

    We are able to batch print invoices through the awaiting payment page, but having the ability to batch print packing slips would be great. Having to click in and out of invoices to print the packing slip for multiple entries daily takes quite a bit of time. Can this feature be added?

  3. We have standing orders set up for multiple properties for water rates, business rates, electricity and rent all of which are invoiced quarterly/six monthly/annually.

    Can we have the ability to create bank rules for supplier overpayments to a contact??

  5. Ability to insert forecasted figures into Xero and run a forecast report alongside the budget report. We get to half year and assess how on track we are with budget and more often than not it makes sense to adjust the forecast numbers for the remainder of the period but not lose sight of what the budget was in the first place.
    If we're able to run a report with actuals for YTD and forecast for the remainder of the period it would be hugely helpful

  7. Since October 2023 automatic bank feeds with Maybank are not working anymore. Before that, they worked perfectly fine, but since then they are not working, and have not been restored from Xero ever since. As per Support there is a technical problem, and they are working on fixing it for over a year now. So this is not even a new idea, but only the request to restore an important feature that already existed before. Please work harder on fixing this issue!

  8. During reconciling, when adding details - Description section coming from bank feed could be auto-highlighted saving time, allowing it to be changed more easily, rather than having to mouse across to select or (triple tap trackpad). This way if it didn't require a change of description, we can tab across. But having it automatically selected when tabbing through fields would be amazing if possible. eg. of highlighted area attached.

  9. Currently, when a client clicks on "Ask a question" when viewing their invoice. This message is sent to the staff members personal email that created the contact in Xero rather than the delegated email address the organisation has selected in Email settings.

    What if the staff member no longer works at the company or these emails are being missed as they are not sent to the organisations delegated email?

  11. The attached 'Supplier Statement' report has been 'retired'. Please consider reinstating this in Xero. We buy in euro and for financial audit purposes at every year end we need to issue this report. There is now nothing like this on Xero which makes no sense as we can't report without a mass of manual work to make a report outside of Xero.

  12. Since system allows to import manual journal with up to 300 lines cap, it would be of high value to have a feature to import additional lines into the existing manual journal (especially that we found an instruction on how to do that, but there is no functionality withing the Xero product)
    Or as another alternative, if there is an option to merge existing manual journal entries than it will work perfectly as well.

  13. When copying an existing invoice to a new invoice, the reference should not be copied over as well or the user to be given the option to not copy the reference number to the new invoice.

    There are many times, reference number is not updated or removed and then needs to be fixed at a later point.

  15. When transferring money between bank accounts in Xero - it would be good to restrict the user to only making the transfer if there is actually a matching transaction in the other account. As it is currently, the user can make the transfer and then it sits in the unreconciled payments or receipts for a bookkeeper to tidy up later on.

  17. When you have a large number of Tracking category options and you wish to add another, you have to scroll heavily to get to the bottom of the list each time you wish to add another.
    This is not time efficient. The option to add another tracking category option should be at the top of the page for simplicity and time management of the XERO user

The ability to match and upload receipts and invoices stored and analyzed on any number of different apps to simple bank transactions downloaded and categorized in xero based on the exact amount and the relative date only. Do this without the complication of further analysis in xero such as matching or paying bills.

    Background and use case: For any business primarily downloading and categorizing expenses from various bank and cc accounts and not using xero to bill customers and create invoices.

    This could be an additional button next to the Recode button called "Split" which brings up a pop-up window like Recode does.

  20. Xero offers users the ability to select between cash-based accounting and accrual-based accounting for financial reports. However, a major problem is that the inventory sales reports are based only on accrual-based accounting. This means the financial reports and inventory sales reports are never consistent. Please add the ability to run cash-based accounting reports for inventory sales (sales by item, etc.).
