  1. Can we have one more column or filter option containing Bills/ Expenses status like Paid, Awaiting payment, Awaiting approval and Draft to generate every details on project bills/ expenses record in "Project Details Report" or Project features in "Payable Invoice Detail" report.

  2. When a custom P&L is created it does not update if there is any change in the chart of accounts. For example, if we move a nominal from the P&L to the BS it will still show in the P&L if the custom report was created before the move. This is a major flaw and when raised with Xero we are told to just re-do the custom reports, some of which take a long time to do.

  3. Mobile/ipad bank reconciliation

    Request to show in the suggested green match it is 1 of many if more than 1 matching invoice (as it does in desktop)

    Else payments can be matched to incorrect same value invoices - what a headache to fix later..

    AND

    … find and match can only search by name or invoice number -

    Please add to search by invoice amount (as this will help with when there are multiples to choose the correct one)

  4. New bills screen - bugs/design that need to be fixed:
    - when filtering the currency column disappears
    - the planned date font size is smaller than the due date font size meaning I can't zoom the screen
    - the from column isn't wide enough so most suppliers' names are wrapping, meaning each transaction takes up 2 lines and results in fewer transactions on one screen and more scrolling, whereas there is wasted space between the planned date, paid and due date columns which could be made narrower

  5. Currently when you filter all project reports by a date range it pulls the report based on when you assigned the invoice/expense to a project. Please update the report to pull by the invoice/bill date similarly to all other reports in Xero. This is crucial so you can compare your project reports to all other financial statements to confirm accuracy.

  6. It would be great to have an option to run a sales report by item which includes draft invoices, delivery dockets, and purchase orders as well.

    For example, I tried to run a sales report on qty of each product sold for the financial year to date and realised this information was inaccurate as we had sold a significant qty as draft invoices (using draft invoicing in lieu of delivery docket functionality), these products were not included in the sales report.

  7. Can you please add a filter to the payments page so we can filter them to show just the incoming payments. It would make it a lot easier to reconcile the payments if we don't have to scroll through all the outgoing payments as well.

  8. Ability to add project financials rerporting into an advisor template report

    Being able to build a management report template that includes project financials seems like a no-brainer. but you can't do it at template level. You have to start with the existing template for a managmeent report and build a report from scratch for each client.
    You can't even take an existing template and add in a project report.

  9. There is no reason to override a cogs associated account to a purchase account in the inventory item summary.

    The suggestion is to allow the inventory item summary report to report on items as they are actually tracked on the P&L meaning material purchases are a cogs and should show in the cogs on this report.

  10. Since system allows to import manual journal with up to 300 lines cap, it would be of high value to have a feature to import additional lines into the existing manual journal (especially that we found an instruction on how to do that, but there is no functionality withing the Xero product)
    Or as another alternative, if there is an option to merge existing manual journal entries than it will work perfectly as well.

The new invoicing page design has created a bloated feature-packed version of invoicing that, whilst great for companies who regularly email or print invoices for posting, is an absolute pain in the proverbial to navigate for companies such as ours who only create invoices for accounting purposes, and never send them out.

    For background context, we are a small family-owned investment property company who create invoices in Xero corresponding to rental income statements we receive from letting agencies. We only create the invoices once we've received the statements, so the original invoicing feature was perfect for us. Its replacement is…

  12. At present, using Xero's Invoicing templates, you cannot send a "Receipt" from the Invoice -> Email screen. It prints as "Tax Invoice" with a zero balance. You have to click into the payment applied and send a "Receipt" from there.

    If Xero labelled a paid Invoice as a 'Receipt', then surely we could use 'Receipt' templates - as you cannot unless using an advanced docx template with custom coding.

    Secondary to that, Email templates - not being able to have a 'Receipt' template means that our "Receipts" go out with Xero's "View Full Invoice and Pay" message at the bottom…

  13. We are forwarding inbound invoice emails to the Xero processing address, but, many suppliers send multiple copies (up to 5 or 6) saying "Invoice", "Invoice due in x -7 days", "Invoice due today", "Invoice paid", each with the invoice.

    Going through the duplicates screen is time consuming.

    Please make this easier for bulk actions:

    1) a keep this and delete others (in a group)
    2) a delete all (in a group) - sometimes we get statements or similar sent and right now we can delete the duplicates but have to go back to the invoice list to delete the original.

  14. Could we please add the 'Due Date' option to the Aged Receivables Summary Report. I love the simplicity of this report versus the Detailed report but unlike the detailed report, there is no option to add the due date.

    Thanks for the feedback, Jodi. When you say you'd like to add the Due date I'm guessing this would be as a column to the report? One thing that would make this tricky is where you have multiple due dates for a customer with multiple invoices in the period the reports being run - what date would you expect to show here?

  15. Being able to turn off "suggest previous entries" can prevent clients being to trigger happy with the "Ok's" in the bank rec screen. Unfortunately, this option does not flow through to the Xero APP. Can this please be updated.

  16. I really need to add notes to the Budget Manager fields to explain (as much to aid my own memory as anything) how I calculated the amounts in each line for each month. This will be helpful when the budget is interrogated at Board meetings and I can easily reference what was included in the expected income or expenditure figures for a month. Xero has this facility in other financial reports, but it is desperately needed in budget manager.

  20. Bank reconciliation screen: Why now, when reconciling, the page shifts down from the top! Shifting up from the bottom would make more sense and be less confusing. I reconcile from the latest and scroll down the page, but the page shift affects the ability to find my place for the next transaction down the list to reconcile. Often, I reconcile a wrong item as the screen header rolls down not up after I have reconciled a transaction. I find I always must readjust my vision. Very annoying.
