  2. Thanks for adding this feature. I'm trying it and I noticed that if you copy and paste a value with a $ in it, it will not paste properly. Sometimes when you copy paste opening or closing balances from PDF it copies including the dollar sign.

    Please allow to paste the value with the $ in it.

    Also, there doesnt seem to be any way of deleting a draft period. Please consider adding a small garbage bin icon in the period list and inside the period.

  3. Please put the customer's payments on the activity page so it is easier to see what payments went to which invoices. Seeing that an invoice is paid isn't enough information if the customer has questions. It would be nice to see WHICH payment is applied to an invoice.

  4. We need to be able search for items which have no account or account code allocated to them in error. There is no way to search for 'unallocated Accounts' under account transactions.

    Hi Charlotte, appreciate your idea however need a but more information to categorise and share with the right team. Is there a type of document you're looking for this information in? For example sales invoices, or bills?

  5. I would like to request that the parameters around the business snapshot ratio's (specifically current ratio) exclude long term loans that are connected to a bank feed.

    Currently if a long term loan is connected to a bank feed it must be allocated as "Bank" this then over rides any account type or account mapping settings otherwise designating the account as a long term liability in regard to ratio's. Xero simply assumes if it is "bank" it must be an overdraft or credit card and therefore is a current liability. This deems any ratio's within the business snapshot relying on…

  6. A feature that allows an email to be sent for a voided invoice to the client so they have confirmation the invoice is voided as verification.
    This can be as simple as taking the invoice template / previously generated pdf and branding "VOIDED" or "CANCELLED" on top of it.

  7. I feel on the bank Reconciliation page, there should be links to both "Invoices owed to you" and "Bills you need to pay" I feel this would make navigation quicker and simplify the reconciling process.

  8. This report is great, I love it but we need to be able to customize it more. When you try and add columns it gives a message saying that you have to delete the total column first, then you need to manually add a total column which isn't the end of the world, but you can't select the the new total column in and of the formulas, like if I wanted to add the variance column (Which I would love to) but I can't.

  10. I would love the ability to have the project's name and my business's name in the title of my invoices when I download them. I know I can manually do this, but it would make it much easier for customers paying my invoices and filing them to have my name and project number in the title.

  11. Reviewing VAT Returns

    I don't know if it is just me, but when I am reviewing VAT returns and looking at the transactions, as I scroll down the screen I can lose track of what VAT rate I am looking at if there are lots of transactions.

    Would it be possible to add a column or a header that states the VAT rate on the transaction schedule that remains visible on the screen as you scroll?

    Scrolling up and down to check or locate specific VAT Rates wastes a lot of time.

  14. A flag which shows when the profit & loss figure plus brought forward retained earnings does not add up to the retained earnings on the reports. This is usually due to a mapping issue where a figure is causing a transposition error. It only seems to flag if you opt to include a statement of changes to equity. Seems like there should be a more obvious flag for this issue to ensure it is not missed.

  16. It could be a glitch or just how the reports work, but Voided Invoices that were voided with a currency value in them, appear on the Receivable Invoice Summary with that value. So Invoice INV-45831 was for £123.00 but was voided. You can now no longer edit that invoice and in this report it eternally has the value of £123.00.

    This is an issue as the data is downloaded to extrapolate many different analysis for sales data.

    A bad fix after the data has been downloaded is to try filter and take out the ££ and change the data after…

  17. Layout of invoices with subtotal breakdowns for various VAT rates. To be able to present multiple subtotal amounts before various types of VAT are applied to the invoice. I have included an altered pdf file as an example of what you would want to see on the invoice.

  18. Ive moved form Quickbooks to Xero (I guess this is common).
    Xero does not accept bank feeds from Macquarie Banks - Offset Accounts.
    It's very frustrating to manually have to import bank statements every month and I would love if they could please collaborate so it can occurs. It makes it tedious for my business and I lose hours trying to do it every time.

  20. Set credit card accounts as liabilities, not assets. We are not a bank, so credit cards are properly liabilities. There should be no reason these accounts should be reported as assets in any circumstance.

    I can't set Account Type for bank accounts unless there is a feed associated with it. Even though, I'm not sure what good that actually does, and we don't have feeds for all our accounts. "Credit Card" is an available account type for bank accounts when they are feed-enabled, so adding credit cards as bank accounts appears to be what Xero intended, and that's what we…
