Contacts - Add customer's invoice payments to Contacts
Please put the customer's payments on the activity page so it is easier to see what payments went to which invoices. Seeing that an invoice is paid isn't enough information if the customer has questions. It would be nice to see WHICH payment is applied to an invoice.

I shouldn't have to create a report every time i want to see the "activity" on an account. It was perfectly fine before the changes. In the new format,
If an invoice has been paid by overpayment or credit, it now shows the invoice amount as 0.00. This seems a bit counterintuitive for an accounts program! We should be able to see the amount of the invoices and overpayment regardless if they are outstanding or not.
We receive invoices in foreign currency so all our payments are entered as overpayments and then applied to the invoices.
At least add a column that states the original transaction amount. While I'm at it, it is not as pleasing to look at now either. I'm all for changes that are beneficial, this change is not. -

The screen details of invoice should show the amount of invoice or credit note so that we have no need to click to invoice or credit note to see the amount because once the credit note have been settled ,the amount will show only zero"0" in the paid coumn and the invoice will showed the paid amount which is net of deducting of amount of the credit note in the paid column

The new contact screen doesn't show payments anymore. You only get a paid date against individual invoices. Unless the invoice is part paid and then it doesn't show a date. You can;t easily see if multiple invoices have been paid on one payment either.
The main effect is that now the contact screen is so messy as you need to drill down into into individual invoices to get any decent information.
The new contact screen seems a backwards step and my team are feeding back to me that it's change for looks rather than functionality. -

Prior to Xero's recent changes the invoice's full amount was showing under the Activity tab. Why is this a "raised request" when really this shouldn't have dropped off to being with. It was suggested to us by tech support to run a report for the full invoice amount which seems silly for something that use to be "at a glance". Previous to Xeros recent changes the overpayment amount, credit amounts, full invoice amount all showed! This change is a step backward. I believe this needs to be escalated.

Most of my sales contacts pay in direct debit instalments (some in advance and some in arrears) so most contacts only have the 'invoices' tab as they do not make direct payments. On the invoices tab there is only amount paid / amount due - so if an invoice is part paid you cannot see how much the invoice is for anymore! A TOTAL invoice column is needed or you have to add up paid + due to get total!
