  1. Would be great to have the ability to bulk merge contacts in Xero rather than having to do this one at a time - would be a great time saver!

    Hi team, we're looking into change for contacts taking on board feedback and monitoring usage. 

    Our team are looking at how we enable a bulk merge functionality in the new contacts view.

  2. Ability to have a notes section in the Contact’s record.

    Hi Gayo, interested to better understand how this would help your business? 

    Perhaps the Invoice reports in Xero are a better use for this? 

    Generally you can drill into the transaction from the report directly. 

    Is there a reason why you'd like this on the customer statement specifically? 

  4. Option to sort customers/suppliers by their surname.

    Purpose: This feature will make it easier for users to find their contacts in Xero.

  5. Having the option to show client or supplier on invoices.

    Purpose: Eliminates the need to go to contacts tab each time to look up the phone number to contact the person while going over the invoices. Also for the delivery person to be able to reach the receiver at point of destination or to make an arrangement for receiving as well.

    Hi everyone, wanting to update you all of the teams work here. 

    We're currently investigating work required for delivering the ability to create and save multiple addresses for a single contact within Xero. 

    As we confirm more detail around this we'll share with you all here. 

  7. Currently there is very limited information on the contacts main page. All it has is the name and if they owe or we owe. It would be so useful to see if they are allocated to a Contact Group and what date they were added, and perhaps the last transaction (so we can quickly bulk archive contacts that have not been used for a while). This would make contact management so much easier, as currently we need to click into each contact one-by-one which is just not feasalbe, therefore resulting in a contact system which is very unorganised.

  9. When viewing a contact it would be helpful to have all the invoices or bills listed by "date". Currently they are listed by "activity date" but that is not relevant if I'm searching for an invoice. It can be changed manually, by clicking "date" twice (first time it brings oldest to the top!), but it's a very basic normal thing to look for invoices by the invoice date.

For Practice manager- When downloading a report for Contact details to do a mail merge and send out hard copies ( yes we still use hard copies), is there any way to have a separate box for Suburb. So when you export the CVS file it has Street # and Street name in the column- [Client] Postal Address
    and a separate column for Suburb e.g [Client] Suburb.

    As I had to edit in mail merge so the address read correctly in envelope window.
    Unsure if we can do that in our set up?

  11. To provide the option to import new contact(s) to an existing group.

  12. I have removed the 'details' from the 'financial details' on our supplier contacts so when I do a batch payment, it automatically pre-fills with the invoice number I am paying. Once I make the payment, Xero then uses this invoice number and add this to the contact financial details which means when I do the following weeks payment, it has the incorrect invoice number in the batch payment. I purposely have the details blank so the invoice number pre-fills correctly.

  14. Many companies have a separate email address for receiving invoices and another for statements. Is it possible to add a tick box in the contacts so that invoices go to one email and statements to another, as currently the only way is to send everything to both emails (or delete the one you don't want each time)

  15. The criteria offered in the Contact Smart Lists are far too limited, and what is available is not useful at all. I would like to run a basic list, for example those customers who have not purchased from my client in the last 2years. I need this so that I can see which customers I should archive. There is currently no way to do this, unless I click into 800 contacts one-by-one. I am not able to keep contacts organised very well at all because of limitations such as this. The number of contacts just grows because it is not…
