  1. When depositing checks, I often search for the customer name or invoice number and deposit ONE CHECK AT A TIME. While this is less efficient than batch deposits, it works fine for our low volume of checks (most customers pay by CC or ACH now). That said, it would be more convenient to navigate to business/invoices/awaiting payment in one step than navigating to invoices and then clicking on the awaiting payment tab in a second step. IOW, you should show the sub-navigation within invoices so you can go to the exact tab you want.

  2. At the time of creating ABA file with 10 bills and one supplier bank account has an error (eg extra 000 in front of the account number), XERO still allows to create the ABA file however removes the bill without a notification.

    Let's say you do not take time to check the batch payment PDF file with ABA data file, you do not know that bill is removed.

    If XERO does not allow to create the ABA file OR notify that bill is removed from ABA file will solve the issue.

  4. On the Xero mobile app, it would be great to be able to search Products & Services. If a customer wants a price on an inventory item, I have to create an invoice or quote, then add an item to see a price. A Product & Services link off the Dashboard would be very helpful.

  5. It would be beneficial to be able to adjust the check voucher format.

    When paying multiple bills on one check, just list the bills (1 per line) that this check is paying. The reference line on the check voucher should agree to the Reference field on the bill. It makes no sense to reference each line item on the bill. We can have over 25 line items on a bill. I hope this issue can be addressed soon.

  6. Sometimes the order of transactions is different in Uncoded Statement Lines Report to the transactions you are coding in Cash Coding. This means you cannot quickly enter codes from the Lines Report but have to carefully check line by line that it's the same transaction. This is extremely annoying, time consuming and occasionally results in incorrectly coded transaction lines. This has been a problem for years! It's terrible.

  8. In the customer under account transactions it shows the list of invoices and payments. Against unallocated overpaymentsit shows the status of 'Awaiting Payment' why? we are not awaiting the payment it is shown there.

    Awaiting allocation maybe.

    Anyway this caused confusion for our sales guy who had goods arrive for a proforma customer, he saw 'Awaiting payment' and thought they had not yet paid so he did not ship the goods, (Accounts were not in to tell him) He did not see the words overpayment or even if he had, he was not accounts so would he understand it?   9. VAT201 Report - PDF link to scanned tax invoices. It will be great to have a PDF link to scanned invoices attached to bills and invoices in the transaction by field number report. It will be easier and save time to download and save from this screen, instead of opening the actual bill or invoice in order to download attached documents for upload on SARS efiling for VAT verification/audit.

  12. Hi

    I would like a feature in the short term cash flow where when a repeated manual entry transaction is made that you can edit only one instance like a repeated meeting in outlook.
    An example is that i have made a regular Money In transaction yet i cannot remove a single instance when the actual invoice is created and i am overstating incoming revenue.

  13. Allocate specific tracking categories to transactions instead of showing every category when a transaction is created.

    Currently all tracking categories show when creating a new spend/receive money. In our business one of these categories is used for timesheets only. I would like the option to be able to choose which tracking categories display when creating new spend/receive money transactions in Xero, in the same way that I am able to do this for payroll and on invoicing.

  14. A report showing all Bank Statement lines for (Filtered) bank accounts and date ranges.
    This report could be used to track transfers that go from Bank Account A to B to C.
    Should include User created statement lines and reconciliation status. Additional details such as matched transactions would also be useful.

    Is there any way you could integrate the photos I put on my Starling Bank account of receipts I receive for purchases for my business account, so that I don't have to enter them twice, once on Starling and once on Xero.
    I realise this is not an option, as it's not happening, but the notes I add do come through, so could the photos too?

    This isn't something we have planned at present but will get a sense of the appetite here and let you know if there's any change. 

  17. When clients are activating new BNZ Direct Bank feeds for new Bank a/cs from Xero, many are getting caught out accidently adding into Xero other BNZ bank a/cs listed on BNZ online because they are not specifying the don't connect option for other bank a/cs that are not related to their business. If they don't select any option for other listed bank a/cs, these Bank a/cs get auto set up with a bank feed in the Xero they are currently logged into.

    It's a pain to remove unwanted bank a/cs from Xero especially if they have started importing transactions or…

  20. When transferring money between bank accounts in Xero - it would be good to restrict the user to only making the transfer if there is actually a matching transaction in the other account. As it is currently, the user can make the transfer and then it sits in the unreconciled payments or receipts for a bookkeeper to tidy up later on.
