Navigation - Add Tracking Category back to main menu
Please add Tracking Categories back to the main menu, so it can be accessed with one click instead of having to navigate through to settings. Under accounting tools would be fine. Thank you

Thanks for raising your feedback with us here. It's really good to understand what's important to help our customers working in Xero.
If possible it'd be great to get more detail as to why you're often needing to access the Tracking Settings? In many places you'll find that you can add new tracking options for a category while on the go and entering transactions in your org, so would appreciate deeper understandings of your business flows here.

We use categories to track classes we sell - which can occasionally be cancelled or rescheduled. When that happens I rename the class accordingly for easier reporting. Hence needing to go to the category page. I do utilise the add tracking while entering a transaction - which is great.
Having added this idea - I acknowledge it is not a huge issue in the scheme of things. At the time of posting here it had been a source of frustration when I couldn't find it after the menu update. If I could only have one improvement it would be the addition of both posting and invoice date as per other requests in this forum. That would really improve the product and solve other issues caused by not having the two dates recorded.
thanks -

OMG - isn't this a pain in the behind to have to go through all these additional steps to access something that is quite critical to a business that relies on tracking everything!
We are a construction company so Xero is integrated with other programs to help with costsings etc. I open up the job numbers in Xero to cross reference with these other programs, to see if jobs that have been set up in other programs have been assigned a job number in Xero etc.
I know it's not hard to just click another couple of buttons, but when it was there before and now moved with extra work, is just frustrating.
