Appreciate wanting a quick method for adding a project to a transaction when reconciling.
For the time being we're continuing to keep an eye on the interest for this here.

Hi everyone, we'd like to share an update with you all.
We've begun release of a deposits solution powered by Stripe to a small group of customers, and expect to roll this out over the coming months.
We appreciate progressive payments for businesses that work on more of an instalments flow is a little more complex than what will be available initially with deposits.
We do have intentions to expand on this feature overtime, and I'll continue to keep you updated with further news on deposits and progress payments.

It is crazy that this feature still does not exist. It should then be able to link back to the original quote, so that you have a progress report to refer back to and to send to clients if they want an update. After 6 years as loyal customers, this issue alone has forced us to look elsewhere

This is critical and we've been asking for it for a long time. Inability to create progress invoices causing us to research alternative accounts software to replace Xero...
